Ignore this 2024 draft it's mostly mediocre and I'm not upset about not having a pick in this draft. First mock is up and I highly doubt we get the 1st pick just bc of how the lotto is so unpredictable but I think we land in the top 6 or so some prospects to checkout:

  1. Flagg HT: 6-8 – WT: 200 – WINGFlagg is a unique prospect; a dominant defensive player who has a massive impact on the game, even when he’s not scoring the ball. He’s a complete offensive player who can dribble, pass and shoot

  2. Nolan Traore PG – France – HT: 6-4 – WT: 184 – WING: 6-6 – Int.06 – An elite level point guard prospect who can do it all, pass the rock, push the pace, hit the 3 and defend on the ball and excels at getting in the lane and finishing.

  3. Dylan Harper SG – Rutgers – HT: 6-5 – WT: 190 – WING: NA – C’24 – Harper plays with advanced skill and feel for the game. He isn’t an elite athlete but is a big time offensive talent who just knows how to play and how to win

  4. ACE bailey SF – Rutgers – HT: 6-9 – WT: 200 – WING: NA – C’24 – Ace has as much upside as any player in his class. He has awesome size for a wing and big time ability. He’s a tough shot taker and a tough shot maker

  5. VJ edgecombe SF – Baylor (Bahamas) – HT: 6-5 – WT: 188 – WING: 6-6 – C’24 – An elite talent at the SG position with all the physical tools and intangibles to be great. Edgecombe glides on the court and is the type of athlete that is hard to look away from. He gets above the rim effortlessly, plays with a ton of intensity and seems to have all the intangibles that make the great ones great.

  6. Hugo Gonzalez SG – Spain – HT: 6-6 – WT: NA – WING: NA – Int.06 – Hugo plays a complete game and competes at a high level. He’s a talented shot maker, passer and has a special feel for the game. He moves well off the ball, is a great cutter and is a very capable play-maker/initiator as well.

  7. Khaman Maluach C – Duke (South Sudan) – HT: 7-2 – WT: 250 – WING: 7-6 – Int.06 – An intriguing big man who has great length and size. Defends the rim well and can step out on offense and hit the 3-ball. Needs to get stronger and play with more aggression. He’ll be one of the more interesting prospects to watch as he adjusts to college ball.

I think anyone of these guys would be a great addition to this team and could be a true foundational piece. The future is bright nets fans. Hold in there we're going to turn this around

Ace and Dylan winning a national championship for Rutgers then one of them being a star on the nets is the dream

I personally can’t get excited for college prospects rn. Too early. When we’re in the dog days of next season, and we got an idea where our pick will land, then I’ll be all over Cooper Flagg highlights and interviews.

Til then, imma just focus on the core we have now.

Dylan and Bailey need to develop jumpers or I’m not sold on building around either.

The best part of next year – legit 5 guys with real superstar potential.
