newton was the best all around player in the country last season imo, good scorer, playmaker, shooter, rebounder, defender, and leader.
i think he’s good value as a 2-way player for us.

As a UConn fan, you’re going to love Newton. He knows what to do with the ball in his hands. Was the driver of the offense for 2 National Championship teams. At times he’s not aggressive enough for how good he can be at getting to the basket or pulling up for a 3, but he can work on that at the next level. But the kid works hard, he’s quiet and humble and hungry. You got a good one.
