I am confused but happy like when my girlfriend starts talking about her smart person job. I don’t know what’s going on but I know she’s cashing a big check that will benefit us.

Leon is doing the GM equivalent of a 46 minute long Coltrane song off a Japanese live album

I wish the draft was a little more transparent regarding pick trades. There’s a lot of missing info and I have to scour the web to figure out what’s going on

I get happy that they draft someone. I also get angry when they draft someone.

I assume anybody we draft will be a contributor at some point be that through trade or on the court. We have hopefully 4 to 8 guys that we’re going to make a run at a ring with for possibly multiple seasons, and we’re GOOD.

I feel like with this draft we realized the money spent on some of these guys who were never seeing the floor was wasted and redirected it to taking care of our core appropriately. Like bro, Diakite was cashing cheque’s that my wife would go nuts over and played like what, 5 minutes?

We stacked 2nd rounders who are cost controlled and got ahead of the new aprons, and I think Leon literally is working OT with Gerson and Dolan to figure out how we pay Zay appropriately and fairly. There’s a whole plan laid out of how we achieve a championship, and it’s not complete until we figure out Hartenstein but I tell you now there’s contingency because everything we’ve done in the past like 100 hours indicates there is a plan, plan b, plan c and plan d and all of them lead to us being a team that can take a ring home.

This whole bullshit about getting apron locked due to a trade with the Nets is bullshit. There’s no way that we just decided this was good enough, no matter how good it is when there is a way to navigate it and be better before we lock in
