Utah Jazz select Duke’s Kyle Filipowski with the #32 pick of the NBA Draft
with their third pick of the 2024 NBA draft in the 32nd pick overall the Utah Jazz selected Kyle filipowski out of Duke the 20-year-old seven-footer who grew up in New York City was projected to be a first round pick but has slid down to early second round a very talented offensive player with an array of skills he can dribble he can pass he can shoot he’s a pretty good postup player so why does he slide to the second round he gets beaten up a little bit his balance gets him knocked off he’s not particularly strong his toughness has been questioned and he’s not a great defensive player his offensive skills will remind you of former jazz man Kelly alen the question’s going to be whether he has that same kind of grit and toughness that alen had inside of his game his wingspan is also shorter than his height which is unusual at 6 foot1 so he’s not a great Rim Defender but a very talented grab for the Jazz at 32
