Stephen A. BREAKING: Warriors select Quinten Post with the 52nd pick | 2024 NBA Draft Round 2

State Farm Melvin ainka was just selected by the Knicks but this pick is now on its way to the Dallas Mavericks Jonathan Malika Melvin ainsa is a 6’8 and2 Wing who has Dynamic shot making versatility he absolutely exploded last summer at the FEA under 19 World Cup which I attended he uh brings great aggressiveness on both ends of the floor he had a very good season in proa France this is an interesting stash pick for the Mavs here again Malin ainsa headed not to the Knicks but to to the this is great this is fantastic news this is really irritating because this is what the guy wished for yesterday Bob Myers and it’s all happening today now here’s the thing it’s the second round I understand that but an aggressive player who can shoot I mean I’m I’m fantasizing about that in a Nick uniform and I’m like are we Leon we I gota Le Ros has deserve the benefit of that are we sure we sure we want to do this are we sure we want to do this I just why y’all laughing at me w i mean what are we supposed to do what are we what are we supposed to do you’re not looking for 19-year-old players understand I’m just saying man if if the brother’s aggressive you can’t have it both ways Stephen A you can’t have it both ways well gentlemen you TR a win or you’re going young in this Leep the Golden State Warriors are on the clock but this pick is on its way to Oklahoma City but since it is the Warriors Bob you were at the helm making these decisions for years and years and years leading to four championships they have some decisions to make this offseason and at the top of their list is Klay Thompson I love how we talk about teams that don’t have the pick but that’s fine it is the Warriors it was their pick tell about this morning I saw um listen if you’re asking me yes are asking me I have uh I personally would would sit him down and say we’ve had a lot of history together let’s find a way to keep going and end your career it’s so special to end your career in the same place now what I would ask him is can you be happy here um and can we work something out that works for us and you cuz it’s a mutual thing just like you said players need to feel good about where they’re going but I would appeal to the fact that Clay is a historian of the NBA his father played in the NBA right clay values Contin I remember one time there was an argument in the locker room when we were trying to win our third there was an argument in the locker room and he was the one that said we’re trying to win three in a row do you understand how historic that would be and Klay didn’t say a lot in the locker room so he’s a storian he values who he plays for he values what he’s accomplished I know it means a lot to him and so I would try to say to him play let’s figure this out where we can all benefit why what did you you were never a GM you don’t know send it to Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum again this is headed to Oak with a 52nd pick in the 2024 NBA draft the Golden State Warriors select Quinton post from Amsterdam the Netherlands and Boston College Quinton post headed to the Oklahoma City Thunder Jonathan Malika highly skilled 7 foot1 Dutch big man who had a great season in the ACC for Boston College can stretch the floor terrific feel for the game uh can really pass improved his defensive versatility this season uh kind of reminds you a little bit of Mike muscala this is a very interesting pick for the Oklahoma City Thunder this kid has a chance to make an NBA roster down the road thank you so much Jonathan Quinton post again I keep saying it because we put the graphics up that say Warriors but really it is Oklahoma City more first round you’re looking for your money they don’t want to give you a fourth year that basically shows that their belief in you has dissipated some degree they still respect you because you’re still a damn good player but there are question marks you got an opportunity to get in Philadelphia to play with Joel and be to Tyrese Maxi something along those lines that’s an opportunity you should explore because guess what Paul George can afford to opt out and know he’s going to get more than $48 million he going to get a raise so I’m him it’s what I do well you know unrestricted free agency always scared me more than anything because when you have a player like this you can’t control it the team doesn’t but by the way that’s okay most of the time the team is in control most of the time you do control your roster but players of this magnitude whether it’s Paul George or any player they hit unrestricted free agency often times they can dictate terms okay and a bad or good but that’s all he’s doing he’s he’s got the control um he’s earned it I I don’t know if he’s been a free agent before I don’t even know if Paul George has ever been an unrestricted free agent no he hasn’t listen you’re the Clippers whether it’s the Lakers the Clippers teams in those markets they Bank on their ability to be able to go out and get another star player if they have cap space and I think you’re seeing the Clippers try to hold the line and not ultimately pay a player who would be 37 years old have to pay him in the mid-50s by the way the the Clippers are not villains here got the NBA’s oldest Squad averaging 30.4 years of age okay you need a youth movement I like their pick you got to get some young dudes up in there no doubt about it but the other side to it is this the two cornerstones of your franchise one of them is perpetually injured and the other that’s contemplating free agency he’s been injured enough in his own career you do need to start moving in a different direction as an organization and if you’re the player you should be thinking about it too okay so the Clippers did make that pick at 46 and then the 47th pick on its way to New Orleans from Orlando Antonio Reeves and now the San Antonio Spurs they are on the clock we’ve talked a little bit about the Spurs they’ve had a couple of picks throughout this draft you can see their their room right here their draft headquarters as they deliberate who they will take with that 48th overall pick and now that pick is in so let’s get it back to Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum with the 48th pick in the 2024 NBA draft the San Antonio Spurs select Harrison Ingram from the University of North Carolina Harrison Ingram he says the way that he plays basketball is very methodical and it’s strategy based and that comes from playing chess he started playing chess as a kid with his dad his grandpa taught his dad how to play and that’s just been passed down through the generations he played his first two years at Stanford this past season at North Carolina as an all ACC selection this season at Stanford he shot 32% on threes and then up to 39% at North Carolina as he has his moment there with Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum first thing I’m bring is toughness um I’m play hard every day every practice I’m going to go hard no one’s outworked me at Stanford I was more of the Tom for for for out en spe for out don’t enem Def h
