[Lewenberg] Canada GM Rowan Barrett said that Wiggins was cleared and ready to go for camp but they got a call from the Warriors a few days ago saying that they’re holding him out. “From what I see this is not an Andrew decision, this is from the team.”

The fact that Kerr is the coach for both the warriors and team USA makes this extremely clear whose decision this is. Really unfair and hate to see this opportunity taken away from Wiggins.

I am shocked that Wiggins backed out of playing for canada at the last minute! absolutely shocked! this came out of nowhere! Who could have ever seen this coming! just because the exact same things happened 4 or 5 times, my monocle is shattered/in pieces!
I guess that means that Steph Curry wont be participating in the Olympics, if GSW are so worried about their own players….
Does this mean that USAB actually feels somewhat threatened about Canada. I know it would be a longshot to win, but stuff like this just has petty written all over it.
