The Houston Rockets are expected to show interest in Zion Williamson, Devin Booker and Donovan Mitchell, per @sam_amick & @anthonyVslater

“So, who are the Rockets interested in as franchise centerpiece material? League sources say that Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell (who is 27 and widely expected to sign an extension with the Cavs soon), the Suns’ Devin Booker (also 27) and New Orleans’ Zion Williamson (23) would all fit the bill. The only problem, of course, is that none of them are expected to be available anytime soon.”

I mean, the thought of Zion dropping the hammer on Wemby and sending him back to SA with little more than tears and his safety baguette seems pretty nice to me.

Per reports in the last few days the Rockets are interested in KD, Lebron, Zion, Booker, Mitchell, Doncic, Brown, Harden, PG, Bridges and Ben Simmons. Reports also say they want to keep their young core.

Just dont trade for anybody and let the core play this season

  4. We’re going to mess this up. Instead of letting our young core develop we’re going to push all the chips in three years early just to make the playoffs and lose to teams better equipped to win a title.

We literally have “the 7” now they tryna rush the process? None of those guys put us over the edge unless Zion loses 50 lbs and stops getting hurt

If Zion ever really commits himself to being great, I’d take him in a heartbeat.

I don’t understand why our FO wants to win now so badly

I think they’re dangling Jalen and Tate and picks for an all star type . I’d prefer to keep him. But who knows

Is there any star we haven’t shown interest in lmao

Zion is such a Tillman move in getting a star

With our assets, cash, and young talent we’d be silly not seeing who’s available. We need a star.

Unless you are swing for notoriety because the names are more marketable. Then Yes. As far as basketball aspect, pay a premium for marginal improvement.

Booker sucks, Mitchell meh.., Zion is too fat. Next.

Hate on it all you want, but you really need a superstar level talent to win anything of consequence in this league (and even that isn’t a guarantee). If they don’t believe any of the young core is going to get to that level and they have a chance to secure someone of that caliber, they at least have to see what it would cost.
