[NBA University]20yo Dyson Daniels is already a top-shelf NBA defender. Excellent and opportunistic team defender—hawking passing lanes with elite instincts and 6’10.5” wingspan. Disruptive yet disciplined on-ball defender with small guard feet in a wing’s body. 94th percentile in D-EPM. Scary🔒

Pelicans fan here, really upset to lose dyson. Dude is an elite defender and can switch any position. Had trouble shooting, but has a nice floater and so much room to expand his game

All I remember about this dude is him choking everytime he saw Lebron

If he could shoot better then 31% this alone would be a W lol.

Edit: added alone to the statement since it’s what I meant.

  4. So happy for this kid – y’all are going to grow to love him. He works hard and never complains. I couldn’t imagine a better situation for him to be in. He going to grow into one of the top 2 way dudes with yall 🙂

We’re getting the defensive 1/2 guard we were expecting when we traded with SA. Not even close to as polished but he’s 20. Just hoping Trae is going to be patient with this youth movement we’re developing.

  6. Pels fan here. Love Dyson. Really young and an incredible defender. Really really lacking on offense but you never know that could change. Feel like you guys needed a solid lockdown defender like this. He is an absolute menace

Liking this move more and more but what does mean for Bufkin minutes?

he’s really elite defensively, and a good rebounder. he’s also a pretty good playmaker, and occasionally has some nice drives to the hoop, although his shot does need some work, he shows flashes of being a decent shot creator.

  10. this might be a perfect fit for y’all. happy to play off ball and activate the clamps

So I only recently got into the NBA two seasons ago—my husband is a Hawks fan and I started watching with him and fell in love with the team and the game. Both years I’ve watched I’ve tried paying attention to the other teams and picking out players I like to watch, and this year I got super into Dyson Daniels! Sometime in November I think I turned to my husband and said “damn what do we need to do to get Dyson as a Hawk?”

And now my question was answered!
