this is so sad. A true end of an era, but it was GREAT while it lasted.

All we do is shoot threes and win championships.
Draymond_Punch
Turns out he didnβt wanna come off the bench like ginobili, he wants to be Tony Parker

Shit is painful. I thought they would all retire together

Love this core and it was a hell of a ride. Glad to say I was a part of it. Created a beautiful brand of basketball that inspired millions, changed the league forever, and etched their names in history.
It’s a damn shame the way it all went downhill, and the bitterness I feel towards Draymond for fast-tracking them towards the end. As well as Klay for not reciprocating the loyalty the organization showed towards him during his injured years.
Regardless, I wish I could live it all over again.

I know its soo sad π

The saddest part is the way he went out. I hope he proves everyone wrong (unless heβs on the Lakers), but he expects loyalty and shows none. Really shitty look on the way out the door.

In the free agency era it is extremely rare for three greats to stay together in any sport. Money, ego, physical decline hits them all at some point. Rarely together.
ButtonMashKingz
π he literally did interviews not too long ago saying he only wanted to play for Kerr.
Why did it have to end like this? π

Gets paid top money to not play basketball for two years. Takes the way out first time he can.

Don’t be sad that it ended, be happy it happened.
