Would signing Paul George and Isaiah Hartenstein make the Orlando Magic the No. 1 Contender to overthrow the Celtics?

The Magic are listed as the Top 3 options for free agents George and Hartenstein.

They would be very good, but not Boston good.

You can’t do both, you can do Bi and hartenstein though

On paper, probably not. But no one wins titles on paper. A lot can happen.

Boston is also very expensive and will end up locked in an apron, and in that future time we may be able to contend.

This team is still young, and it’s more marathon than race at this point

  4. We would be the number one contender for the 3rd seed.

Knicks still better probably. But no way we can get both

No, but signing PG and Tyus Jones would make me a lot happier.

The Celtics are what they are because of continuity and chemistry, which the Magic won’t really have in the short term if they add one or two big hitters while losing a few role players. That’s not to mention experience, which this mostly young squad also doesn’t have for the most part.

Having said that, George in particular gives this team three star caliber players (not even including Suggs) which is quite potent if they play well together, and the potential to beat anybody on a given night.

No where close. But it does probably get us into the top 4. The gap between the Celtics and the rest of the east is simply too high.

Depends on Paolo.. Everything depends on Paolo, how much he improves year by year..

I think just the fact that our talent is young and still improving will close the gap but no matter who we sign it has to be proven on the court. Looking forward to summer league!!!

Nope. Still won’t have a true point guard to run the offense.

That would basically be like running it back but only with upgrades at the Center and Shooting Guard position.

We’d be a heck of a lot better, but I don’t think we’d be where we need to be ideally.

  12. knicks are insane, we’re not close to that yet even with PG

Hell no. What happened to this sub? The contract pg wants will age horribly and the number 1 thing we need is a point guard. I swear y‘all are trippin mad
