In case anyone here doesn’t know, Stein is THE source for Mavs basketball. I’d trust what he says beyond any other reporter about Mavs news. He’s not always right but definitely is the most accurate.

If we keep DJJ, totally cool with Maxi/Green + FRP for Klay. Would be about as good as we could do this off-season. In Nico we trust!
Cato just baiting probably. A late story for a late drama when he changed representation couple days ago. Lol That said, we’re not out of options if he does leave. If anything, Josh Green showed more value than DJJ in the Finals. Then, Maxi+1st (?)for Klay, and sign Caleb Martin for the MLE. We’re alright.

He has ego issues and is pretty much a more consistent THJ who’ll be turning 34
The difference with Nico compared to the past, is that if he doesn’t get his main targets, he is good at quickly pivoting and not getting caught without nothing. If it’s Klay and no DJJ, DJJ and no Klay, or not both, he will find a way to get something just as good. With Donnie and Cuban, if we didn’t get our main targets, we were screwed and had to settle.
Seems like Lakers are in the driver’s seat.. Clippers prolly ahead of us as well. Gonna be shocked if he bolts to Texas.
Well now if it doesn’t happen, Josh Green is going to be scared all year.
Is Klay really a bad defender now?
If we get Klay and still retain DJJ I’m very okay with it. A Luka, Kyrie, PJ, Lively, and Klay starting 5 with DJJ and Gafford as our rotational 4 and 5 looks real nice
