James Harden to sign 2-year/$70M deal to STAY WITH CLIPPERS 🚨 What about Paul George? | NBA Today

because James Harden is planning to return to the Clippers on a 2-year $70 million deal that is what a league Source confirmed to our own young Muk La will be of course opening a new Arena and now they will know that they have kawh Leonard and at least James Harden in the in it dome so I want to bring in our Ramona shelburn because Ramona notice a name that I didn’t mention Paul George what does this decision tell us about Paul George’s future in Los Angeles well I you know it’s really interesting kawh Leonard took three years 15 50 million James Harden just took two years 70 million but the second year of that contract is a player option so we’re back to this oneon-one with James Harden it’s almost like he hits free agency every single season but this year it’s a player option um and for Paul George it’s really been about he knows that there are other teams that will offer him four years there are other teams that will give him the full Max kawh lard James Harden have taken less than the full Max to stay in Los Angeles but if you know your Market has four years elsewhere four years in in a full Max elsewhere it and this is probably your last big contract if you’re Paul George it is a very tough decision you know a couple years ago I did a a cover story on Paul George and talking about why he wanted to play in Los Angeles he wants to be at home around his parents his mom had a stroke when he was younger and it’s hard of her to travel to games being in Los Angeles was a homecoming for her and for him and and this is a tugging at his heartstrings to make this choice and yet four years versus 3 years four years at a full Max versus less than the full Max that’s a tough decision for a player in his mid-30 [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

  1. Yall were the best team in the west for a month.. replace Paul with a bigger defender at the 4 who can be a lob threat too

  2. I remember Harden turned down 60 per bc he didn’t wanna stay in Houston and later wanted to return to Houston

  3. GM's are swayed by top talent just like men are with gorgeous women. Even though both know better – they just can't help themselves.

  4. PG13 wanna play in a winning system and james harden wanna be the system but he aint winning

  5. IF THERE WERE ALLEGATIONS THAT JJ REDDICK MADE ANTI SEMITIC REMARKS WOULD JEANIE BUSS HAVE HIRED HIM? WOULD ESPN HAVE IGNORED IT LIKE THEYBARE IGNORING HIS ANTI BLACK RACIST ALLEGATIONS?

  6. WHY? There is no market for Harden in FA. You suppose to wait and see what PG does first then decide. In my opinion If George doesn't come back then why waste money on a washed Harden. Westbrook/Hyland combo didn't not look bad at all beginning of last season. It's time to go fresh fish not old trout.

  7. That's a great pick up clippers. You guys did great! I'm sure harden will turn a new leaf during the playoffs this year.
