People angry that we missed out on PG13 – this contract is going to look as bad as Beal’s in about, oh, 9 months…

  6. Happy_Nom_Nom

Wonder if he’ll have at least have one healthy off season with them

  7. Manti_Teos_girlfrien

so glad we didn’t take on that ridiculous contract

Thats a lot of fucking money, either way their probably gonna be one of the teams in the east to beat or another 2nd round L

  9. a player not mentioned as a possible free agent target is harris who george basically replaces now in the sixers starting line up going forward

harris is 31 years old wing who had a down 2023/24 but the previous 4 seasons with the 76ers he averaged

17.7 pts 6.5 reb 3.1 ast on 49/38/85 splits in 34 minutes while playing in over 70 games over that span

yet even again in a down season he still averaged 17.2 pts 6.5 reb 3.1 ast on 49/35/88 splits in 2023/24

i haven’t heard much of a market for harris in terms of him signing a long term deal … reports are teams like the spurs, jazz, pistons, & even mavs have shown some interests

suffice to say only the mavs are seen as contenders & they wouldn’t to be able to offer him more than what the warriors could which is i think around 13 million since the warriors are now eligible to use the mid level exception

i guess fit wise i don’t know where harris would play but if the warriors were willing to trade for george who are basically the same size physically & play a similar type way … i mean is it possible you can have harris, kuminga, green playing in the starting 5 and it working

but i’d be surprised if the warriors front office didn’t show at least some interest in him internally

Holy fuck that’s a lot for PG13 at that age and how injury prone he is

  11. the_loner

Good for him but damn that’s a crazy ass deal.

  12. Warriors offered Moody, CP3, Kuminga, and a 1st round pick for him and the Clippers let him walk for nothing just so they wouldn’t help an in division rival. Yikes. Can’t say I’m not glad to not have that albatross of a contract on our team though.

$50m a year just to exit by the second round again. That’s crazy

If that means Boston won’t repeat, I’m all for it

  15. I think what we need ain’t stars, but role players that contribute. If we manage to find some good fits, we may still be really good
