Lakers and blazers were in talk of Jerami Grant trade, but Portland thinks Grant should get them 2 first rounders. Lakers feel that Grant’s contract is bad that they can’t give both picks.

  1. then he gets traded for 2 second round picks a week later

How about no firsts? Grant is not a big enough upgrade over Rui to justify any firsts, imo, especially at $30-fucking-million.

  3. They’d attach a first to dump that massive contract with any other team.

Lakers interested? 2 FRPs or no deal.

Injured a lot, too much money and they get some younger guys and they want two firsts is crazy. I like Grant but not that much.

What I learned is the league don’t like the lakers and I’m fine with it, I’ll push the line with it

Does this even move the needle? Does Grant play D anymore? Knecht can shoot the 3s.

Fucking what?! Eh it’s probably just some random Twitter guy anyway, but Grant for 2 FRP’s is crazy with that contract

So this trade is dead now time to talk to the nets or Utah

  9. AdVegetable9992

No need to give 2 picks to get him as this is bad contract., after 1 year it will be same as lavine contract. They need to attached pick in order to offload him

  10. 2 first round picks? Yeah just move on. That’s a joke lmfao

Lakers tax is real, but he’s a klutch client? I think it will be done.

His source (if he truly has one) suggesting 2 picks is the external pressure campaign to get 1 pick out of us, which also shouldn’t happen

I still think a Zach Lavine deal is going to happen. Lakers can pick up assets to take the contract and depending on how many salaries are going out can still make a move this offseason or trade deadline with all their current picks + what they get for Zach.

Trading for Zach also helps do an uneven player trade so that we can open up roster spots.

I don’t think that would be the only offseason move though

You mean the contract that was the last straw and made Lillard force himself to Milwaukee?

  15. JDangle20

Lmao it’s D. Murray all over again. Lakers tax is real.

  16. Lakers tax already in effect hahahaha and yet they gave the Clippers Norman Powell for a bag of chips hahaha

I’m not sure why this sub seems to be high on Grant to begin with. He’s overpaid and tends to miss a lot of games these past 4 seasons

This is starting to look like another disappointing offseason.

  19. Lakerman0824

Fuck the blazers literally gifted balmer players and want to tax us…

Heavily protected first and a swap is about the most I would do

  21. Panda_Dad84

Dejounte Murray trade is embarrassing. I wish we could actually see what we were offering. Kyrie Irving trade especially.

  22. BoysenberryJunior294

He’ll get traded for a bag of chips

  23. A couple seconds and a bag of chips about to get that deal done for another team by the end of the day 🙄

  24. Jalen Hood Schifino is a 1st rounder so there you go easy peasy 🤷‍♂️

  25. Illustrious-Fig6819

Yeah at this point I think the Lakers should just pivot to the Nets or Jazz. Either DFS/Cam or Sexton/Kessler
