So 76ers add Paul George to Embiid, Maxey. Knicks acquired Mikal Bridges, re-upped Anunoby. Magic adding Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Pacers re-up Siakam. Celtics remain a champion intact. Heat so far . . . re-sign Kevin Love.

There isn’t much they can do with what little assets they hard

  2. cornballerburns

Yeah Ira coming strong with the Magic Johnson tweets

  3. I know Barry says they don’t want to pick a direction, but we are in play in range again and our pick is lottery protected. So we gonna do shit and then give the thunder something like the 16th pick smh. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the team, and I think they can be better than ppl think, but Celtics, Knicks, 76ers all definitely look better and arguably the Bucks, Pacers, and Cavs who all had better regular szns. I’m worried

How do I link my post from draft day? It’s been this many days before the do something meme started. lol

And we’ll still do better than arguably all of them come playoff time if we stay healthy

  6. 2 finals appearances, 3 Conference finals appearances and Pat wants to become more passive than aggressive when the Team was close to a championship.

Never in a million years would I suspect Pat Riley would be passive being so close to a chip. This is complete opposite from 20-10 and even 6 years ago.

I love Pat. He’s the godfather, but he’s clearly not the same man who was unrelenting in trying to build championship rosters. I never thought id say this in a million years but Pat needs to step down. I think it’s that time.

What about Rozier?? And a top 15 pick?? There are only so many possessions in a game, the Heat already have 4 guys who can score, that they have not seen how they play together.

It’s ok, we’re losing Highsmith and Martin for nothing either and we’re running it back for the 6th time. Rozier trade killed any chance of us doing anything. Good to know we will have 3 players making 50% of the cap who can’t share the court together in Rozier, Herro, and Robinson.

Guys, everyone needs to calm tf down. Free agency has only been happening for a few hours. We currently only have 12 players on the roster, one of them is Orlando Robinson who I highly doubt is getting his contract guaranteed by the July deadline because we have Ware. They have to do something to add two more players to hit the minimum roster number, whether it’s a trade, re-signing Highsmith, Caleb, Delon, or signing minimum contract players.

Heat probably did all they could already with assets that they had, ie Rozier. On paper this team ain’t beating Celts, Sixers, heck maybe even NY, which is obv a bummer. But that’s just paper. Keep in mind both. Embiid and PG have been ASS in the playoffs when it counts. If going gets tough both of them might fold like paper.

  11. This sub has been nothing but whining since Jimmy got hurt

  12. PugeBenis

Can anyone explain to me how the Sixers, Knicks and Celtics seem to have unlimited space and we don’t even want to sign our one superstar to a max deal due to it being too expensive for us?!

  13. Dame2Miami

We’re gonna be fine. The team has had a full offseason to recover. Just gotta stay healthy (like any other team).

  14. SeriousAdult

PG is a terrible overpay that is going to fuck the Sixers for at least 3 of its 4 years lol. Knicks overpayed a haul of picks we couldn’t even offer (Bridges is a great fit for them though). KCP is a huge overpay for a roleplayer who will never perform at that level without Jokic. And Siakam and Anunoby weren’t even on the market. So what exactly did the Heat do wrong here?

  15. Look, I think we gotta be honest that we are on the tail end of a window that saw us make the Finals twice. I know consolation prizes don’t mean shit. Whether we re-sign Jimmy or not, I don’t think that we are a championship roster next year. We’ve got to make moves that are 2-3 years ahead now. We are building to expand the window for Bam now. That shouldn’t be a hard truth to accept, but we are not in any way in a similar situation to the Knicks or the Sixers as far as our roster and free agencies need are concerned.

  16. OfficialPeenLicker

It’s crazy how spoiled we are. You guys are getting mad that we are making consistently making the finals but not winning it all. Do you know how much any of these others fan bases would kill for that? Get over yourselves. We make the playoffs almost annually and more often than not make it to the 3rd round. Other teams fans would do extremely heinous things just to be in our position. You all just need to calm down a bit and enjoy the success that most teams will never experience or haven’t experienced in 30+ years.

However, I am still mad about The Bubble finals because if Dragic doesn’t get hurt I fully believe we win that title against the Lakers.

We have enough. Stay healthy and the internal improvement will come.
