it’s about damn time that this team accepted their rebuild we’re not talking about the Chicago Bulls at least not yet after a couple of failed super team projects with a few different Allstars over the years the Brooklyn Nets are finally trying to recoup draft assets and potentially younger players moving forward they managed to score five total first round picks from the Knicks after trading Mel Bridges which was the first time those teams have made a transaction with one another since the 19 1980s they also managed to get their own picks back from the Houston Rockets with a pick swap after trading Kevin Durant in 20123 the Nets got back eight unprotected first round picks one protected first rounder two pick swaps in 20128 and three. second round picks and the best part for them is that they aren’t done compiling assets they still have more pieces to flip to fully embrace the tank
It’s about time that the the Nets accept their rebuild.
