Wow unexpected. I hope second year is team option.

Not a bad contract. Let’s Reed develop a bit if he’s not ready, and if he is Holiday’s good to have as an end of the bench guard.

So how much of the MLE is left? Not like we have any roster spots.

This probably solidifies the roster going into the season. I like where we are at and with good internal development we are a playoff team. I don’t expect any other moves, but if a trade comes along I am sure we will be opportunistic. Holiday/Griffin/Tate/Green/Landale may be the best 3rd unit in the league lol.

  6. VERY UNEXPECTED considering what a great year he had last year and Isaiah Reed Sheppard. This is good though. You get as many good players with professionalism and positive influence (especially work ethic-wise) and have them rub against each other for some healthy internal competition. Plus hopefully good shooting is contagious 🤞. For example, seeing each others shooting and game prep routines of pro’s pros and with the new facility, hopefully an enabler over our legacy high school practice gym lol!

He’s going to play a lot of the minutes people want reed to play while reed gets dnp’s/g league assignments and people on Reddit and Twitter are going to be bitching and crying asking how could we be mismanaging our picks so hard and playing random vets instead just like happens every single year

  8. We are too deep for our own good almost. They will probably trade some of these guys this offseason or at the deadline.

    We are unbelievable deep rn

    Fred, Jalen, DB, Bari, Al-P
    Reed, Cam, Eason, Amen, Adams
Holiday, AJG Tate, Uncle Jeff, Landale

I like him but wanted that Pt for Reed and Amen.

Great news! Legit vet who’s a Swiss Army knife as a depth guard. Kind of like Uncle Jeff at a different position.

If we get an injury or two, we’ll be VERY happy to have him, and it means Sheppard has to earn his minutes.

  12. It seems more and more like we are gearing up for a big trade or two as consolidation seems necessary IMO.

Even if Reed is in the G-League, we still have 14 players who could break most teams top 8, and Ime seems like we wants to be 8 or 9 man rotations. Even with injuries, it seems like there is going to be a huge move.

I wonder if its a mid season or after the season.

I’m praying we are gearing up for a Giannis trade.

  13. I’m a little surprised that either side was interested in a return, but he’s a good backstop and was a contributor to our steady defense. I’ll take it, though I hope we see enough Amen development that Holiday minutes are mostly unnecessary.

  14. Hmm, I love what he brings but this reads like Udoka wants no part in seeing the growing pains of having both Thompson and Sheppard as his only PG back ups. Can’t say I blame him but I hope this doesn’t hinder either playing point guard minutes, although Sheppard probably will spend most nights early on in the G league.

I like Aaron Holiday. I thought he was our most consistent 3pt shooter when he played…and don’t forget those like 1 or 2 BIG TIME DUNKS he had.

Good. We can’t just only have young guys on the team. Aaron also shoots well. His contract and skills are going to be easy to move in a trade as well if a better guard becomes available and a team wants some picks possibly.

I like this move, was hoping we would resign him. He’s a sniper, that just needs to reign in the random moments where he drives the lane and chucks up a bad shot.
