Barry: Heat reasonably could have made the case that they wouldn’t have been a play-in team the last 2 years if everyone was healthy more often. Not sure that’s the case any longer; you could make argument they’re 7th/8th behind Boston, NY, 76ers, Cleveland, Indiana, Milwaukee, perhaps Orlando, too.

And if LeBron was better in 2010 we would have won, cool story

  2. anIlliterateIdiot

We’re so cooked bro. Some nasty form of insanity doing this all over again

  3. Gavster1221

That annoying insider makes a good point
Every offseason it’s we will make moves at deadline then it’s we will make moves in summer.

They been sitting on thei hands way too long man.

  4. jbenson255

Funniest thing about this offseason is it feels like it’s not just Barry a ton of the heat media seem tired of this build as well

  5. I know some of ya’ll don’t like the dooming but man it’s hard for me to be positive knowing we’re losing Caleb and possibly Highsmith. Spo and the coaching staff have a tough task developing Ware and our 2nd rounders/undrafted into the rotation. Season is dependent on Jovic and Jacquez’s development now

Tyler and Jimmy being more healthy isn’t something to bank on. And even with them more healthy, this roster isn’t winning a championship.

  7. Tier 1

    Celtics

    Tier 2

    76ers and Knicks

    Tier 3

    Bucks, Pacers, Magic, Heat

I would put it this way considering we can stay healthy. The big problem is that this team can’t stay healthy so it unrealistic to expect anything better than a play-in spot next season…

Why did Bam agree to that extension so early

  9. OblivionNA

I’m not gunna lie. Shoulda just traded Jimmy this offseason. You can’t run it back 6 years in a row. Pats lost his mind on this one.

  10. Totallynotsimp1

The sooner we start putting public pressure on the F.O the faster we can get off this mediocrity treadmill.

  11. BaMelo_Lall

Theory is Pat has dementia and this is only the first year that we are running it back

  12. Verumsemper

If this is true then the issue isn’t Herro or Roizer but rather Butler and Bam. So if you believe what he is saying, then the Heat need to trade either Bam or Butler and blow up this build.

  13. East_Sleep_1766

No because we made the Championship two years ago and have made the ECF a number of times in recent history /s

This argument is so over played and just logically incorrect with how that applies to THIS upcoming seasons

  14. TheRealJohnMara

I know we can’t do much in terms of signing players but just do SOMETHING. Shake things up. Trade Herro for something, trade Rozier, trade Duncan. Just give the fans some change to look forward to instead of running it back with the same EXACT team for year 6 in a row.

So far we’ve gotten worse depth/defense wise and haven’t improved offense wise

  16. It’s so weird seeing teams like GSW, Lakers, and Clippers make significant changes

These are teams we struggle against and they still have the foresight to know it’s not enough

I think the front office is finally delusional. Not landing Dame was the nail in the coffin for Jimmy’s era

  17. smeaglebaggins

Jimmy and the 3rd stringers every freaking season

  18. Standard_Strategy_25

We’re starting to become the Paul George and Kawhi Clippers of “If only we were healthy” and we see how that played out lol…

  19. This_Material9292

Amazing that I was getting downvoted for saying “trade Jimmy” and now here we are.

I’d laugh if I wasn’t already clenching my jaw about another frustrating season with no route towards improvement beyond internal development.

  20. Good news is our pick that OKC holds is lottery protected, so, you know. That’s something I guess.
