Way-too-early 2025 NBA Mock Draft: Duke’s Cooper Flagg bucks trend, goes No. 1 ahead of Rutgers’ Ace Bailey

I haven't seen this posted but it is highly unlikely the Spurs get #4, #7 and #11. But anyhoo, if this happens, how would you approach it? No one is trading Flagg, no matter how many FRPs you have to send. You might be able to package #4 and #11 to get Bailey and maybe Flagg will overshadow Maluach so much that he is still available at #7. Castle, Vassell, Bailey, Maluach and Wemby would create a scary young core. You could hope Traore drops to #4, Maluach #7 and trade #11 with 1-3 of the SRPs for either future assets or cheaper picks later in the first to land someone like Almansa and/or Kwame Evans Jr to give Núñez and Sochan running mates on the second unit.

  1. Holy shit what a haul. I would be happy to just land one of Edgecombe Harper and Traore

Hey just confirming (because we have so many fucking picks my brain is fried), are the first round picks for 2025 our own + ATL + CHA?

Right now it feels like both Atlanta and San Antonio will be in the play-in race so not looking very good for our 2025 odds honestly. Either some blatant tanking from our part or Trae demanding a trade may need to happen to get a real shot at the top.

Buuuuuut I thought Wemby was a pipe dream so I will still cross fingers through the entire year

Always a chance that atl pick lands top 4 if they miss the playoffs

No one gave the Hawks any shot to land the #1 pick this year. But they did. Ultimately, we just need to hope the lottery gods smile upon us.
