[Scotto] The Miami Heat signed guard Pelle Larsson to a 3-year, $5.4 million deal, sources told @hoopshype . Larsson was the 44th pick in the 2024 draft and is the first second-round draft pick to sign a guaranteed deal in the class.

Honestly one of the worst ways this team has mismanaged its assets is how liberal they’ve been with just dumping second round picks. Given how there’s been plenty of good second round finds the past few years it’s a really good way to pick up cost controlled talent, and we all know if there’s one thing this team is great at it’s finding diamonds in the rough.
Hope this guy works out. I like a lot of what I’ve seen in his draft profile and highlights.

I have a feeling the heat loves pelle like they did jrich .Yes he is older but this is exactly why the drafted him to actually have minutes in the rotation.
I’m Swedish and have seen him play live for years, since he was 14. Athletic, good shooter and high IQ. Excited what he can do in the league and can’t imagine a better situation for him. Good on Pat for signing him.
