Can’t see us moving him this off-season. Too team friendly and a necessary safety net for Mark.
At the trade deadline, however, pending development and how we’re rolling as a team, if we can field a 5 man starting line up or not, I could see him being used in a trade for assets if we’re struggling.

Nick Richards is definitely the type of guy to leave the Hornets and immediately become a legit starter for someone else

I’m a Knicks / Nets / Hornets fan (I know…)
I do not see anyone on the Knick roster that would fit the Hornets. The only thing the Knicks have to move is pick swaps and future 2nd round picks.
I don’t see it.

I can see us holding on to him one more season.

Trading Richard’s is dumb unless he absolutely wants out and we will not find a better fit for us than Miles so I’d rather sign him and if salaun starts to look better earlier than expected/miles wants a bigger roll we can just trade him then but cutting him now as far as on the court is concerned is a really bad look.
