Draymond Green emotional reaction to Klay Thompson joining the Dallas Mavericks

before we hear draymond’s reaction to Klay Thompson signing with the Mavs this is actually what Steph Curry posted on his story along with a whole bunch of photos he said he’s going to miss clay even though we won’t finish the journey together what we did will never be done again couldn’t have imagined a better run with you and Draymond changed the whole Bay Area change the way the game is played killer clay at the center of it all thank you for everything bro go enjoy playing basketball and doing what you do Splash Bros for life my guy but here is draymond’s reaction to Clay the Warriors for Dallas there’s been a lot of crying I’m sure Around the World Around The Bay you know uh marking Clay’s exit 13 years in the bay I don’t really know how I feel about it clay told us last week I don’t know who all he told but I know he talked to me pretty sure he talked to Steph last week and he just kind of was like yeah man like you know just kind of start talking through the years like been great what we’ve done is so special like you know you and Steph my brothers for and and the conversation just kind of starts a small talk and like you’re kind of just prepping yourself like man get me there like I know it’s coming and like you’re enjoying the conversation but yet it’s kind of one of those moments of where like somebody like building you up before they get you to blow they just kind of Build You Up and that’s kind of what I was feeling I was headed to my daughter’s recital so I wasn’t able to go as indepth to the conversation as maybe I would have which I think also was kind of good thing for me because it one thing I think when Kay told me I was just able to listen you know and it wasn’t like a yo we could finish like this or like you should rethink this it was just like wow like all right like congrats bro like I’m happy for you that’s dope you know to obviously reassured that that that changes nothing for us changes the basketball court obviously but the relationships they they are what they are they are forever the connection the bond even as far as all of us being mention together like that that is forever that that will never change I don’t know I I haven’t really been able to process the feelings this morning or not even this morning maybe earlier today I think I might have dropped a couple tiers tier two you just kind of sitting there and thinking and then I came across Steph’s story and like saw the pictures and it was very interesting to me because when I was going through Steph’s story like I I went through it a couple times and it was just like it was crazy to me how many of pictures that he posted that I was also in and so seeing that was like man like it just kind of take you back like it taking me back to the beginning though like when it all started and none of us really knew that it would end up being this you know what it became and just going through that you know it was very interesting to see like I said how many of those I was in because I don’t put myself in the same category with them two them two for me are like here like out of the frame like they’re they’re here and so so I dropped a couple tears just throughout the day not even necessarily exactly looking at the story but I like to keep things the same I like things to stay the same and this this this sucks for me this part of the this time of year always sucks because you build relationships with people and then like out of nowhere they’re just gone and out of nowhere being gone for us is crazy because you spend most of your time with these people like you spend pretty much the better part of nine and a half months seeing these people daily and then like out of nowhere it just ends it’s a very it’s always been a very weird thing for me and so then this one hits like a much like like much deeper right like way more close to home because in a sense it disrupts home like what we’ve known as home for the last 12 years for me that looks way different now

  1. Golden state not suspending Dray for his consequences came back to bite them! It lead to him punching Poole with no consequences that possibly lead to why Klay signed somewhere else cuz Dray got paid after what he did and Klay was a bigger piece in their chip run than Dray and not even getting offered what he wanted

  2. “Changed the game is played”

Yeah… in a boring and bad way. They made basketball boring. Quantity over quality with all the shootings and no rim attack

  3. Funny thing is they paid 100 millions on MMA fighter who can Chockhold opponent on basketball court, KO teammates, suspend every season and cannot pay Klay for more than 48 million for 2yrs contract and by his 0-10 performance idk what kind of negotiations Klay had with GM but it's not getting over 48 milli…. Last time KD gone cause of Dray, JP too and now Klay, why the F they paid Draymond 100 millions for?? To punch more people??? And GSW they gonna regret this trade with Klay soon….

  4. Steph and Draymond should be responsible for Klay's departure, if thery cared so much Klay's feeling, they should've taken the pay cut so Klay could stay, selfish bastards.

  5. Thank god that Steph, Klay, and Dray's reign is over… but also wouldn't be basketball if it hadn't happened. o7

  6. I am shocked that people on here can claim to watch the warriors play and think Klay a spot of shooter is more important than draymond a guy who runs the defense and offense and allows Steph to play off ball. I am convinced many of u don’t actually watch the warriors or u are fake fans that are clueless on Kerr’s motion offense system.

  7. 13 yrs with the same team is a long time, I'm sure it was a tough decision for Klay….sure hope Dallas welcomes him with open arms!!

  8. That is the one thing we have to consider in all this. It seemed Klay was no longer happy playing basketball in Golden State. That is probably part of the reason why Steph did not push to keep him.

  9. Maybe he should've thought of the part he played in railroading his team that led to this dismantling. If the Warriors weren't so shit due to Draymond's stupidity, Klay could've easily been in a better position to stay.

  10. Klay was great but come on he wasn’t the same, and he got allot of chances so golden state make a big decision and is time to try something new!
