  1. Grant’s a good fit, if we can do it for one protected pick and choose the contracts to send, I’ll be happy with it. Better fit than Klay or Derozen.

Derozan on the MLE and a trade for Grant would be nice.

Portland is cheap, they’ll want to move Grant. I’d honestly do it for 2 picks, but keep Reaves no matter what. Lakers “kept” one pick this summer by drafting Knect

Okay a week goes by and nothing happens, then what?

  5. We not signing anyone then, trade target : jeremi grant and perhaps Brook Lopez ?

Until Saturday to be exact. So we have a few days

The only thing keeping me at bay right now is the fact that there are still some solid players out there that we can add either through FA or through trades.

Notable FAs still available that would make sense:

    – Miles Bridges
    – Gary Trent Jr
    – Tyus Jones
    – Caleb Martin
    – Buddy Hield
    – Saddiq Bey

    (Realistic) Trade Targets:

    – Wendell Carter Jr.
    – Walker Kessler
    – Jerami Grant
    – Cameron Johnson
    – Dorian Finney-Smith
    – Demar Derozan (Not ideal)

    Long shots:

    – Lauri Markkanen
    – Trae Young

There’s still a path here to improve the team just have to hope that something reasonable materializes.

  8. Fuck Portland

They gave the Clippers Normal Powell for a bag of chips and they wanna tax us

  9. Does a levine+frp for dlo/rui/hayes/Cam not work? I would do that shit in a heartbeat. Slot vando and 1 of gabe/AR in starting 5 and go after wendal carter for a back up 5?

Doing business under duress is never a good move. Somebody is going to take advantage of this and use it as leverage.

If I am another team, here’s what I say to Rob: “I see your star player is giving you a week to do something. This means you have to do something quickly and can’t walk away without pissing a lot of people off. Because of this, I am going to drive a harder bargain and there is nothing you can go about it because you only have a week to do something. Take it or leave it.”

After we make a dumb move because we have no leverage due to lack of patience, all the casuals in here will then bitch about “lAkERs tAx!”. Too many of y’all predictable af

  11. Grant would be a good signing. He’s very athletic, has good size and is 40% from 3pt.

Do anyone realize if they trade DLo & Vincent both they have no pg? lol Reaves is not a pg and Bronny would be the only other one they need a pg on the mid level

Better fit than Klay or Derozan, and would give Denver hell

I’m a fan of this trade

  14. If we can do this and keep D’Lo also we will have a really stacked team. Something like Rui/Vincent/JHS for Grant gives us.

    AD/Wood/Hayes
    LeBron/Vando
    Grant/Knecht/Reddish
    Christie/D’Lo
    Reaves/Dinwiddie/Bronny

Just a much better team than last year in every way.

How is it that there’s no teams that wants expiring contracts and draft picks. Why are the Nets not on the phone with us, the Wizards, etc. teams that are tanking.

lol.. and then what? Take a pay cut elsewhere if they don’t get anything done?
