been doing this since he’s with the Celtics if Danny makes a trade you get a chance to see a lot of writing on that board it’s going to be picks it’s going to be players it’s going to be a lot and Danny always is looking for the future and trying to grab somebody that he drafts and he gets his his team to get a chance in 3 or four years him a position to baby maybe win the Western Conference yeah Chris hay saying they’re aggressively pursuing him Markin in average 23.2 points per game 8.2 rebounds and two assists this past season how do you see him fitting in with this Warriors qut I see him fit in anywhere because that’s what I I’m a marketing fan you look at him he has a slow start in his career with Chicago just trying to figure it out but I thought the last two years you’ve saw him Tak another step he’s gotten stronger I mean he’s more aggressive he can shoot it he can pul he can rebound he can run and the way the game is played right now he fits in in pretty much anywhere or any offense uh that you have not the greatest defensively yeah but that’s the part that he has to work on how about this sneaky trade that they did deal with Kyle Anderson today the Warriors did sneaky pickup three-year $27 million contract the Warriors executing a side and trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves do you like this pickup I love it because yes he’s slowmo and he won’t be running a lot of fast breaks but he has a high basketball cute you can plug him in in any different situation that’s the one thing I love about him is he’s not uncomfortable in any situation on the basketball floor what you can do with him is you can play him at the five you can play him at the one he can guard he showed I think he’s gotten tremendously better guarding smaller guys they put him defensively I love this for him because if you make a mistake because of his passing ability in his basketball IQ they’re going to have him and Draymond that definitely helps the Golden State Warriors I know and I know a lot of the big questions yesterday were where do the Warriors go from here after losing a guy like Klay Thompson which I feel like was kind of a couple years in the making if you really do think about it but then they’re aggressive today now they’re aggressively pursuing pursuing Lori marinan where do you feel like the Warriors stack up in a very heavy hitting Western Conference well you know it still comes down to obviously you got to have the system and play people play off Steph Curry it’s not just your Traditional High pick and roll Steph is running off the Bas Baseline there’s a lot of movement there’s a lot of re acting and reading there’s a lot of body movement so I think is Kyle um obviously Anderson slow-mo he fits Lori marketing fits if they can get a chance to get him I think the Warriors right now is Shoring up their bench and also finding a way when they do have to compete against some bigs I love Looney but I still think they need one more big you know that can be a offensive threat for them in some kind of way still a lot of eyes watching the Golden State Warriors another team let’s take you to the Eastern Conference that have been busy the Orlando Magic Jonathan he is reportedly agreed to a 5year $84 million extension a year before he was set um to become an unrestricted free agent and they brought back Mo Vagner to a two-year $22 million deal Gary Harris two years 14 million um you have googa three years 25 million and they added kcp to three years $66 million I mean they’ve been busy the last couple of days huh yes they have and this is the one team is I I I love them and I would say Lauren every time I look at their roster I said they’re stacked at every position and it seemed like they’re stacked with young guys and no one’s really separated thems besides um uh France Vagner and then also P Paulo banero but everybody else good players they get along I love this team I mean it reminds you of a college team where they platoon Five Five Guys in Five Guys out uh Jonathan Isaac hopefully can get healthy because if you see what he can do defensively but I like what Orlando has done yeah I still think they need to make a trade to when I say this three or four guys out and one guy in they need less is more for them they got to trade some guys out so they can have a team and have a a rotation that the coaching staff can go 6 seven8 deep right now they go 12 deep yeah it is really crazy when you look at their roster I want to get into a guy like Jonathan Isaac I mentioned he signed that 5year $84 million extension he’s gone through a lot of injuries and a lot of ups and downs to get this contract but he got it what have you seen from him that gives you promise now moving forward flashes and there nothing that’s no flight slight against him it’s just he’s not been healthy I mean but when you see him get a chance to put his imprint on a game in about a short segment of maybe 10 to 15 games before he gets hurt or he’s not all the way there he could be special on both ends he can play he can run he can defend he’s disruptive it’s just that he’s been unhealthy and unfortunately for him that’s not his fault yeah it’s just a part of the game and the business but they still see something in him by he him getting another contract five years for Jonathan Isaac now we’ll take you back to the Western Conference Monte Morris reportedly agreed to a deal with the Phoenix Suns he’s been B bopping around for a little while now but lands with the Suns he’s one of those guys going to play about 14 years uh he knows how to play doesn’t disrupt offensively is good defensively he is solid and I just think he’s the perfect backup for the te of suns and might even get a chance to maybe start if they want one day decide that Brad bill or dein Booker is not a point guard yeah and they got plumbley they reup with bullbull I feel like they’re making some moves right now too yeah they still have some more moves to make if you talk about if this team was in the Eastern Conference M pretty good Western Conference I still think they need a move or two to go yeah the western conference is absolutely a beast when we talk about a team like the Phoenix Suns obviously they have the big names but where do you feel like they stack up I know I asked the same question about the Warriors in another heavy hitting Western Conference I still like I said last year I think they need a point guard you know and I think they have to figure out the style of play and obviously and have guys to star in their role right now is they have so many guys and Devin Booker and Kevin Durant and Bradley Bill no one’s stepping on each other’s toes I love the way Grayson Allen played but I still think they need a traditional point guard and also again they’re going through another system between Monty Frank vogle and now bud all over again trying to learn the system and it’s take some time it does take some time we’ll see how that plays out now in this 2425 season time to take our first break here on free agent fever coming up after bronny James getting introduced to the team today we have more on the flip [Music] [Music]
