Nique took it to the rack with authority, could elevate, and finish strong. He shot free throws well. He had good elevation on his jumper and a feathery touch. He used the glass well and had a nice fadeaway.
He also played like he cared and actually wanted to win. Nique vs Bird was prime time.

He’s one of the best ever and was never surrounded with the elite talent the other playoff teams had. Also, fuck Danny Manning!

Wonder why we never brought him back. After the Clips he played for Boston (!) and Orlando for a season each, and also overseas for two years. Not sure if there was bad blood or what (obviously long since gone)
