Bilal doubters underrate how rare it is to have a wing who can wall off the rim as well as a random center.
I don’t know if he will be the best player through the rebuild, but his skill set will be the most important

Watched the whole game and he didn’t get too many minutes, yet I think he made a big impression. France’s offense flows so heavily through their big men that they won’t need Bilal to do anything offensively – they just need another good defender who can chase players around screens and disrupt the other team’s better players. France would also definitely need a few players who can catch and shoot, which Bilal should be able to do from Olympic distance.
