He was considered one of the worst players on a disaster Pistons team during that losing streak.
He went to the Knicks and had a ridiculously poor regular season in limited minutes.
But in the playoffs, with NY hurt to hell against Indiana, he honestly did pretty great as a spark plug scorer who hadn’t played meaningful minutes in over 2 months.
**Final Verdict:** I doubt he plays much at all with us. This feels Moe Harkless-tier rather than anybody who’s actually gonna get consistent minutes for us.

Vet min shooter, meh not amazing but I’ll take it. We’ve been fortunate to be able to utilize guys in roles where shooting may be their only or main strength, Babbitt, Ellington, Duncan etc. I don’t know that he’ll play a ton, but he should be able to provide some spacing and spot mins at the least.

Bottom 10 offense, Burks is a 6’6 bucket getter, several seasons shooting >40% from 3. That part of it makes sense. Miami probably viewing this as an upgrade for the patty mills spot. Role is basically if one of Tyler or Duncan is out, you get 20 mins and you better be willing to shoot.
For a minimum ill take it, but not moving the needle much, I’d rather have Delon even if J-Rich and Delon are duplicative, Delon is probably the best out of the 3.
