I’m going to assume they mean the Jazz don’t want Wiggins so it has to be a 3 team trade.
However, if the Jazz wanted something around Looney, GP2, and Moody + 2 FRP and 2 pick swaps, MDJ should complete the trade now. GSW would get to keep Kuminga and Wiggins and that’s a huge win for this season and next. I think JK will prove he’s worth a max contract this season but more importantly, keeping Wiggins would let the Warriors keep their best perimeter defender that also can chip in 12 – 18 points a night.
Curry / Melton / Wiggins / Markkanen / Draymond is a good starting lineup with JK, Podz, Slomo, Hield, and TJD off the bench. From there, I would look at the below archetypes to fill out the bench on vet min:
* A defensive guard to fill the GP2 role: Josh Okogie * A vet defensive or stretch big if TJD isn’t ready: McGee, Theis, Muscala, * A spark plug/ hustle 3rd PG whenever Steph needs maintenance days: Markelle Fultz or Jonathan Goodwin
