so an interesting part of this deal just came out and look at this a signning trade the rich keep getting richer the Knicks already got themselves Mr male Bridges and they’re like oh guess what give us Keta bit zop and also we’ll take a sign and trade of shake Milton and I think I it’s just crazy it’s crazy so basically from my understanding is Milton is going to be signing a three-year $9 million contract and will’ll see himself head over to Brooklyn and in exchange they’re going to be getting kieta b g up who is a wing so they turned a free agent that got first off Shout Out Shake Milton and his agent getting Shake Milton a threeyear deal which is going to going to keep him in the NBA at least for another year or two and it’s got two non-g guaranteed years so it means he’s at least in the NBA for another year and he’s going to be on the Brooklyn Nets which are a rebuilding team so if he stays there he’s going to be able to rebuild his value and probably be traded for by a team that want to get him because he’s on such a cheap deal and he’s on a a contract that’s super flexible he was a free agent that they were literally they turned something that oh shake you just you you you wanted to just do this and everybody just worked it out and they bring in Keta Bates xah so you’re thinking who is kieta Bates kieta Bates is 28 years old he’s like a 6 fo8 guy he went to Ohio State the Ohio State my apology I know somebody’s going to be there he’s kind of a Swingman I guess now he’s more of a combo forward when he first came into the NBA he was more of a Swingman as he he’s a guy who was 6’8 230 now he’s a little bit thicker when he’s a guy who’s played for Minnesota Denver was he a part of that big old Minnesota Denver trade yeah he was a part of that big old Minnesota Denver trade then back in 2020 then he played for San Antonio then he was on Phoenix and then he got traded to Brooklyn and he fractured his tibia near the end of the season and his numbers for his career he’s played 16 minutes a night in 283 games 67 M starts 67 starts 16 minutes a night 47% from the field 33% from three three rebounds just under an assist a game and what you get in him is a big Wing who plays more like a a front Court player he’s really good at rolling to the rim he’s actually a great pick and roll roller and he’s does a decent job of Defending for the one thing is he doesn’t do anything super special but they get a guy who fills out the roster he seems seems like a guy that he was actually a guy that Tom thibo brought in so he was part of those t-wolves with Tom thibo as the coach yes for so he was brought in by tibs in his first season tibs got fired they drafted him while tibs was there so he’s somebody that actually could be a person for the The Tib that you know Tom tho really likes and the general manager is Scott that drafted him Scott leaden who’s actually a former New York Knicks guy he’s now I believe a Sacramento King Scout but he started out with the Knicks so this all could tie together
