Tough to say "it's not even close" for the jersey photoshop->not signing the guy. The Knicks and Heat are right up there with them.
The only logistical reason why anyone at this point in time would sign with the Lakers is, I can live in L.A. or the SoCal region all year round and not have to contend with the dreaded autumns and winters that teams in other states deal with. That's it.

As good as LeBron is as a player. He is the equivalent of organizational slow progression cancer. He has all of these dreams of building these super teams to held him shoulder the load and to be his peers but if he just moved towards getting one really good guy and depth he would probably have 10 rings by now.
