Miami Heats and how Barry Jackson reported that the Miami Heats are trying to do something they’re trying to make a move right now a lot of Miami Heat fans are impatient and they’re hoping that the Miami Heat makes some sort of move just for the sake of making a move it seems like and that happened this um trade deadline in February where the Miami Heat had to make some sort of change to this roster they got Terry roier so some of the fan base was happy some of them weren’t happy because we had to give up a first round pick and in order to acquire him but again I was happy to get Kyle Larry off this team and put a younger better option even though he got hurt right at the end of the season which is super unfortunate we didn’t get to see Terry in the playoffs and I don’t think it’s a horrible trade but it sucks that we did have to attach a pick to the Hornets um to get that trade but either way Barry Jackson has been reporting that you know the heat had been linked to D rozan and we were supposedly favorites and now we’re not because we can’t commit a sign in trade because we’re a first apron team and um in order to acquire Demar de rozan we need to get some cap space um because right now he’s an unrestricted free agent and he wants to sign a contract I’m assuming in the 20 to30 million range and again the Miami he have no cap space so in order to do that we have to trade away Tyler herro a Terry roier a Duncan Robinson someone who makes 19 25 and 30 million out of those three guys to clear up some space for him otherwise Demar can’t sign with the bulls for that let’s say he wants 20 million per season if he signs with the bulls he can’t get traded to the heat because we’re a first apron team like I mentioned so he’s not willing to take the the mle for 5.2 which I totally understand um but yeah Barry Jackson like I said he tweeted he is trying to do something in the trade market I’ve been a shirt the rozen seems too difficult at the moment like I mentioned other options less clear that’s why they have left themselves 7 million under the second apron for now so it’s not like they’re sitting around playing Scrabble so we know this Miami Heat team are trying to improve this roster they want to get butts in the seat they want to optimize Jimmy Butler’s potential last season with the Miami Heat who knows um or second to last season with the Miami Heat we don’t know where that’s gonna end up or how that’s going to pan out but with Jimmy with bam with Tyler right now and Terry on this roster they have some movable chips but it’s not going to be very likely that they get a really good player in return because what do they have to trade right now they don’t have more than one pick that they could truly trade and a lot of teams right now are looking for first round picks so if you want to get Trey young hypothetically you would have to trade multiple picks Tyler Hero at yic probably or Hae whichever one they want we don’t have that right now and that might be too steep according to the Miami Heat you want Brandon Ingram then they can’t get a first round pick or the max we could do is Tyler hero in a first round pick are they willing to take that or can they get a better offer somewhere else I’m assuming that’s not too bad maybe Brandon Ingram is feasible but if we do want to get a Lowry Mark in you know Danny a is gonna want multiple first round picks I’m assuming he’s gonna want two three or four who the hell knows um it’s gonna be tough to negotiate with him because P him and Pat Riley don’t have the best pass so either way the Miami Heat don’t have a lot of assets in capital right now that they can trade for those types of players they could offload Tyler Heroes cont to the jazz or to the Pistons perhaps to get some cap space or even trade Tyler hero to the nets for ay Smith who’s making $4 million and maybe a Dennis schroer and the Miami Heat gets some cap relief maybe five or six million um depending on the cap space that the Nets have which I don’t know but there’s options where we can trade Tyler away for Less contracts we’re not going to be able to do that to the point where we get him completely off the books and get no money in return the way that Philadelphia said that you know basically if Jimmy baller was available they would trade us just all draft picks and take his salary because they did have cap space before they paid Paul George so the Jazz and the the Pistons are our only hope if we want to dump a salary and get nothing really in return and create a lot of cap space or like I said if if the Nets are willing trade us a couple guys that equal you know 23 $24 million Tyler’s making 29 next year the heat can get 6 million in cap space so that’s 6 plus 7 is 13 and they’ll be 13 million below the apron more wiggle room to make some sort of trade but it’s going to be hard for them to make any big trade at this point but apparently according to Barry Jackson the Miami Heat are willing and looking to make an offer with a team we just don’t know what’s going to happen yet so we just got to sit back be patient see what happens the Miami Heat are apparently trying and again it’s not going to be great because we’re most likely going to run it back with a slightly altered team and that’s just the nature of our reality so let me know what you guys think in the comments is it likely we actually get a Brandon Ingram Demar Trey young caliber type player or do you think it’s going to be more of like ay Smith type of role player perhaps that we can get or are we gonna get nobody keep Tyler keep Terry keep bam keep Jimmy obviously and add another veteran minimum guy like a Marcus Morris or someone who’s cheap that is a wing player that could possibly replace Kar and or Haywood High Smith if they’re gone so we’ll see let me know in the comments what you think thanks guys for watching
