Brooklyn Nets Signing Shake Milton My Thoughts!!
yo what’s going on guys it’s Houston Sports Talk Back another video day and today the Brooklyn Nets are signing Shake Milton to a three-year $9 million deal Shake is getting the first two years guaranteed the third is not Shake has who has had a great career with Philadelphia um had a great Five Seasons with Philadelphia but this past season was his Worst season of his career um but yeah so he played with three teams started off with Minnesota played 38 games he got traded to Detroit then Detroit since they you know didn’t want any veterans around their roster decided to cut him as they knew they were going to play their young players more then he signs with the New York Knicks so he played 48 games in the season 12.1 minutes per game shot 40% from the floor 28% from three which was a career low before that a career low was 32% he also averaged five points per game two rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game game let’s go over what is what he did in his other Seasons with Philadelphia the 2223 season he played 76 games with 11 starts 20 minutes per game shot 48% from the Flor 38% from the from three eight and a half points per game three rebounds per game three assists per game 2021-22 season 55 games six starts with Philadelphia 21 minutes per game 43% from the floor over 32% from three eight over eight points per game three rebounds per game and two and a half assists per game in the 20221 season his best season of his career 63 Gams four starts with Philadelphia he shot 45% from the floor 35% from three he also averaged 13 points per game which is a a career high and finished top 10 and six Man of the Year voting with getting three assists per game 2.3 rebounds per game and nearly one steal per game um yeah so and then and then the 201920 season he started in 26 game 24 games out of the 40 games he played in so you know I I like this signing for Brooklyn if he can get good minutes I think he’ll play good he’ll shoot good um but at the same time with the teams he was playing with last year all all three of them Minnesota New York Detroit he was not getting good minutes the most he got was Detroit was 16 minutes per game with Detroit he averaged seven points per game in 15 minutes per game now the others New York gave him five Minnesota gave him 13 so uh but like with Philadelphia 20 minutes per game 21 just going by the seasons 22 2022 20 minutes per game 2021 21 2020 23 2019 uh 20 so he got good minutes with Philadelphia and when he got good minutes he played good basketball I think the same thing will happen with Brooklyn if they give him good minutes L your thoughts and peace out
