I somehow completely missed that we signed Nae’qwan Tomlin. He was an absolute BALLER at KState 2 years ago. He was our top player going into last year but he got caught up in a bar fight and the university president stepped in and flexed over the AD/HC and banned him from playing to prove a point. It was so bad that there were student riots and shit over the decision and everything. Dude ended up transferring in December and was granted waiver from NCAA and played at Memphis last year. If he had been cleared at KState we probably would have won the conference and had a good tourney run – Tomlin was a big part of our Elite-8 run the year before.
Hella pumped to see him on this team, hope he makes it through and can find some time on the active roster.

If you’re a K state alum, you might remember playing WVU’s Gabe Osoboian. Not a high profile scorer and from what I remember not the greatest looking shot. Hell of a defender, hell of a motor, and even a better person, if that counts for anything on an NBA roster. Glad to see he’s found a summer spot, hope it opens up other opportunities

WVU alum here. Osa is a baller. If he fixes the shot, he could be an end of the bench/g-league guy. Fun defender and plays hard. Probably too old to be a real NBA guy at this point, though.
