Ian Begley: Knicks’ contract with rookie Tyler Kolek sets NBA record with most guaranteed money ($6.6M) for a second-round pick. Prior record was Andrew Nembhard’s $6.4M. Kolek’s Knicks deal is the most a team can pay a second rounder under the second round exception.

Good. He’s NBA ready today and will be a great backup pg to Brunson.
I think we’re all waiting for the first TJ-Tyler matchup
I think they like him.
But he won’t get minutes…
You’re not dealing that kind of coin for a player you don’t have expectations for
I think this means he’s about to be traded…
6.6M over 3 years. So a little more than couple mill a year.
I’m confused about the cap/apron rules tho. Do second round pick contracts and vet minimums count against them?
Tells me DDV or Deuce could be on the trade block in a year or two for either assets or another piece.
i hope hes good
Hope it’s the first of many NBA records he’ll kolek-t as a Knick 😉 🤦🏻♂️
