Phoenix Suns Re-Signing Josh Okogie To A Multi-Year Deal
yo what’s going on guys and according to my coworker Michael Scot hoy.com Link in the description if you guys want to read more Josh Goen is going back to the sun I don’t even know what what is Phoenix or Arizona’s like nickname is the sun I don’t I feel like that’s not right I live in Florida we like the Sunshine State either way they’re going back to the desert right so the Phoenix ons are allegedly in talks to resign Josh shogi to a multi-year extension congratulations my cooworker Michael Scot says as you guys know Josh aogi is a defensive first Swingman he can play like the two of the three I guess technically in a small ball situation he can’t play the four you guys remember that stretch where Josh aogi was a 16-point per game scorer for the Suns like right before the playoffs he like touched God for like two weeks I do last year you averaged just under five points and like two and a half rebounds and he’s a lock down Defender they need these type of guys he comes in he terrorizes can occasionally get hot he sometimes his three-point shot will land he’s mainly a guy who’s get a rim run finish in transition and cut off ball and the Suns have his early bird rights on aogi and are discussing a multi-year deal to retain his Services over the past two seasons zogi has been a valuable role player for Phoenix providing defense and starting a lot of games his capabilities on defense plus his flashes on offense is somebody they like maybe they think he can be like basically a small like he offensively he can maybe grow similar to like how Derrick Jones did you know and not saying that they’re a similar player but just getting to the fact that they could grow similarly it was just something I was pointing out now besides that I think when you look at a guy like Mr Josh aogi the expectations is they probably want to keep him around as they have his early bir rights they can go over the salary cap which they obviously already are they have the biggest bill in the league they’ll just go ahead and probably resign him to a three-year deal one that is flexible and that they’re not like handicapped to but because of the position that they’re in they don’t they can’t forward to give the pass up on Joshi leaving cuz they locking him down just means they have another body here for a while and it’s just good and he’s actually a guy who is an NBA player now he’s he’s so he’s definitely a guy you rather have Off the Bench than starting but again for a team that is very offensive heavy having a guy like Josh GOI who can come in for Grayson Allen whenever he needs a breather or for Devon Booker or obviously Bradley Beal if he’s Al them or even Kevin Durant as in that starting lineup Allen’s really the only true def natural like willing Defender even though I’m not saying those guys can’t defend the rest of the guys just saying Alan’s the only one who like likes the defend but yeah that’s it coming back
