He’s making legitimate strides to crack the rotation. Cavs fans have counted him out for *this* season but he’s tryna change that. A 6’9” 200 lb scoring threat is exactly what the Cavs need off the bench. To me, talent isn’t so much of an issue with Emoni as opposed to playing within a team/ system and finding his spots on the floor. Time will tell if he can actually play, but both Cavs and Emoni need each other to maximize their potential. 20 added lbs is a positive step in that direction

Love to hear it and not shocking for a guy who turned 20 in January. He’s hopefully gonna keep filling out that frame for the next couple years, should help his defense and ability to get to the basket

Adding 20 pounds is not easy for an athlete. Ask Mobley and alot of NBA players with similar builds.This just shows that he’s committed, motivated and serious about his craft and being great in the NBA. Do not sleep on this kid. 20 pounds in 1 year is not easy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays a big role for the Cavs this season off the bench.

He’s still a small wing span, with a low vert and pretty unathletic agility drills. It’s still going to be very difficult for him.

It’s absolutely impossible to gain 20 lbs of muscle in that short period of time. Even with the aid of quality PEDs 20 lbs of muscle isn’t happening.
