Miles Bridges has agreed a three-year, $75 million deal to return to the Hornets, per Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul and agent Brandon Cavanaugh. – Shams

Would’ve preferred a smaller dollar amount, this is like the max I would’ve paid him tbh. This probably signals the end of our FA

Expected number and years for Bridges

At least the saga is over. Hopefully, he is not a total POS anymore, and he learns to be a good person.

    NO OPTIONS ON DEAL

    3 years, $75m

Welcome back, Miles. Let’s get to work.

Upvotes for all!  Our long contractual nightmare is finally over.

  7. Perfect deal. Not an overpay. Fair value for both sides.

Glad Miles got his head out of his ass

Good deal for the team and player. Hornets retain a good player for a great price and Bridges gets to test FA a year earlier than if he signed a 4year. Win win

There’s no moral purity award for this front office.

If he’s not supposed to be in the NBA then it’s the NBA’s job to ban him.

Theres just no justifiable reason for the hornets to lose the asset for nothing whether you like it or not

Good deal from a basketball standpoint. Not so great from a morality standpoint. Once we re-signed him after the initial charges and paid the PR hit then, there wasn’t much chance that we’d let him go for ethical reasons. It was just a question of dollars at that point.

I need to see his defensive effort improve this year to match this kind of compensation. Last year he was a traffic cone

  12. Amazing_Owl3026

Was hoping for better years and money but this is fine, at least he can’t be mad about an underpay.

Having guys that can do it all at every position is how you become an elite team, Miles gets us closer to that.

Notably his contract would end after we extend Miller and Mark so we’d be over the cap anyway, would be a good use of bird rights

People forget how good this bloke was when playing alongside LaMelo. Their chemistry was undeniable. He’ll go up another level when Melo returns, and if I’m dead wrong and he’s unconvincing, well it’s an easy to trade contract re only being 3 years.

    #let’s get it hornets 🤍🤍💙💙

    #let’s elf*n go

  15. It’s an overpay, but guys like Miles always get overpaid. Could definitely be worse.

  16. JTrillionz

I’m just glad something got done. I feel like we’ve spent the last 3 offseasons wondering what we’d do with Miles and I’m glad that’s over

  17. Total_Ad9942

Man discussing the Hornets on the NBA sub is ridiculous

  18. Cold_Interview9856

Can’t wait to see the lineup of Lamelo, Brandon, Miles,Tidjane and Mark. Got to be one of the largest In the league

  19. JuggerNutZ_

i’ll never defend miles after his dmv charges but at least its not an overpay 🤷‍♂️

  20. MineFine69

So this was our final move to make right? Unless Chef Peterson is cooking up more trades.

  21. He’s a solid player, and it’s good that the Hornets were able to keep him. He could be a starter on a championship team. Plz, Lamelo stay healthy.

  22. regardednoitall

This is awesome! I hope LaMelo gets new ankles

  23. Holly_Matchet

Another skid mark in the annals of Charlotte sports history.

  24. Guy was 4th in the league for minutes per game on a terrible / injury riddled team after not playing basketball for a year.

Knowing that and still complaining about his defensive effort is wild.

  25. Good job, Hornets.

You don’t let a player of this caliber walk away, especially in Charlotte. Not sure why so many fans think you’re gonna attract another player of his level if you let Miles go. This isn’t a desirable destination for anyone at this point lol.

  26. I was hoping we could retain him for a bit less, but it’s not a crazy overpay for the player he is on the court. Hopefully he can be more effective with a better roster around him

  27. P0in7B1ank

Well, guess that’s three more years I have to not watch the Hornets.

  28. detectorsarcasm

Gross. I refuse to be a fan while he’s still on the team.

  29. BuckshotRED25

Glad he’s back. Feel like it’s a fair deal for both sides
