He’s not moving the needle for Sacramento but they might be a fun team to watch

  2. KingNephew

The bottom East teams literally are the G-League development teams for West teams.

  3. Odd-Direction9452

Great news. Really glad we didn’t make a move on him.

  4. CockroachForeign6419

Another team in the west getting better

San Antonio Spurs receive: Harrison Barnes.

Chicago Bulls receive: Chris Duarte, two second-round picks and cash considerations.

    i aint cappin’ or coping

i dont want a guy nicknamed defrozen

  7. LosAngeles1s

ngl I really don’t think he fits with the team at all

  8. cmurray555

Wondering if Harrison Barnes is a buyout candidate

  9. BarveyDanger

We sat on our hands all offseason as per usual. The way this fanbase copes is almost astounding.

Not mad at us not getting him because I didn’t want him in the first place, just mad that yet another team in the West has done something to get better and we still haven’t.

  11. Us making no moves while the rest of the west getting pieces

  12. Immediate_Candidate5

So they got rid off Harrison Barnes with 2 second round picks and some cash, ya that’s not happening with us. With us it would be Reaves Rui, 2 first and probably a property in Brentwood

Tbh, I’m sure many Lakers fans didn’t want him, not for $70mil. All the talk of coming home and playing for his home town team is just that, all talk. If he truly wanted to be a Laker then he would’ve taken the MLE. Simple as that.

Getting tired of players using the Lakers as leverage to get their bag. Smh.

  14. SPMrFantastic

Glad DeRoz came home but respectfully he wasn’t getting that from the Lakers. Get your bread where you can

  15. im-a-drawl

Only time will tell if this makes the Kings better or not but they’re actually trying to get better. Meanwhile the Lakers are just sitting around and not doing a damn thing.

Good! X people think RP missed another one on this. lol. I hate that there’s still no movement on the roster but it’s still better than going with the previous linked players.

  17. CaCHooKaMan

3 years at $76 million with $59 million guaranteed. No thank you.

Man 50 wins is gonna get someone 11th in the west

This is good for the lakers, Derozan is a great player but a bad fit for this team. Hope we explore trades for some players that might not be as highly valued, lonzo maybe? clippers picked up primo and KPJ who have negative press (thinking of guys that dont require some type of picks) I’ve seen some chatter about Wendell Carter but i dont see why the magic trade him away if they arent bringing a better player/fit back. They need a pg/shooting but not sure DLO would entice a fit without sending a pick back

Genuinely one of the worst playoff performers I have ever seen. DLo may have his inconsistencies but Derozan shitting the bed in the offs’ at that contract price would’ve infuriated lakers fans.

Not to mention that’s another guy on the kings that can get hunted on defense.

  21. StoneColdAM

I think Klay might be worth overpaying for, but not DeRozan

  22. MaryandMe1

the way I see it and let me know if it’s copium if he froze vs lebron and th3 cavs in the playoffs in Toronto got traded and they win the next year without him he just isn’t that guy for us to be a contender.

  23. wants to come home but he makes it impossible anytime

  24. mrlandlord

I want Markkanen. I would pay that dude. Big man, hit 3s, stretch the floor

  25. Thank God, dodged a bullet. Now I just need to see Trae Young traded somewhere besides here.

  26. YellowMambaSr

Good, we never needed him… we should prioritize 3 & D players who can make plays without the ball

  27. We’ve got enough assets for a one shot trade. I’m glad that Rob didn’t empty the mag for fucking DeRozan and that contract. I’m glad he didn’t empty the mag for Klay and that contract, either.

Am I a fan of not doing anything, yet? Fuck no but we’ve got one shot here to put together a decent package of expiring + talent + picks to get an impact player. Let’s see what happens over the course of teh rest of the offseason, Lets see if Utah moves Lauri or ATL moves Trae. I’m not a huge fan of Trae but his market isn’t the greatest right now and same goes for Lauri. His market, because he’s on an expiring contract, isn’t through the roof right now. Maybe we can sneak in and grab him? Doubtful but who the fuck knows.

  28. Derozan solves nothing for this team. You all should be way more pissed we couldn’t grab Hield or Valincunas (sp?) and even Klay.

We added a rookie shooter this off season and no big to pair with AD. Yet another failed off season by the FO.

  29. Pikminious_Thrious

Yeah dumping DLO or Rui and then Gabe just to sign Demar for that contract would have been bad

  30. Hour_Insurance_7795

Even with that contract, his age, complete lack of transferable game to the Lakers…..I’ll still be expecting the “what the fuck is Rob doingggggggg???” posts that will inevitably come 🤦‍♀️
