I recall in an interview, Demar said he wasn’t prepared for Canadian weather when he got drafted. Although I cried when he was traded in 2018, he brought life to Toronto basketball. Now seeing him go back home in Cali makes me so happy; he’ll help the kings blossom on the court and off the court with his veteran presence, while being close to family.
