Meet the Los Angeles Lakers NEW HIDDEN GEM Who NOBODY Saw Coming… ft Bronny, Knecht, & Kuhse

to many fans disappointment the Los Angeles Lakers still have not made a single move as part of the 2024 NBA free agency and only made a few tweaks along the edges via the NBA draft fortunately for the most part the front office has done fairly well in the draft front when looking Beyond just a disappointing jayen Hood chafino pick last season and once again it seems like the Lakers might have walked away for a rookie who could make an impact immediately in Delton connect on paper he has all the qualities needed to thrive alongside all the attention to both LeBron James and Anthony Davis draw at the Collegiate level he’s proven to be elite movement shooter he can put the ball on the floor create quality looks on offense and is aggressive attacking the basket when necessary with all that said fans of the purple and gold should take connect’s first Summer League game struggles with a grain assault in his California classic debut connect finished with a disappointing 12 points on three of 12 shooting from the field to go along for underwhelming five of n from the free throw line needless to say it was quite the uncharacteristic performance for argu be the best shooter of the 2024 NBA draft class but to be fair he was tasked with more ball handling and playmaking responsibilities than he’s accustomed to as part of a starting back court with bronny James who’s not a true facilitator either matter of fact the Lakers summer league Squad as a whole really struggled up until there seemingly one and only true playmaker checked in later in the game that being Tommy czz Tommy Koz would finish a game with 15 points and eight assists in just 23 minutes off the bench and he did so all in a refreshing style of play that fans of the purple and gold have longed for Koz was an immediate injection of stability with whatever unit he was on the floor with he was extremely efficient in every aspect of the floor his highq was put on full display and he showed a tenacity on both ends of the floor which coaches fans in the front office always love to see but before we dive into the specifics let me know down in the comment section below what are your initial thoughts on the debuts of rookies Dalton connect and bronny James as for the rest of the team’s performance which Lakers summer league player has surprised you the most so far after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft Tommy CZ would go on to play international basketball in Italy post a 5-year college career where in his senior year at St Mary he averaged a solid 12 points four rebounds and four assists to go on 45% shooting from Beyond The Arc and then in just his first year going pro in Italy he finished the season averaging 18 points four rebounds and six assists per game and once again on over 40% shooting from Beyond Arc this is all say that kuz’s fundamentally sound and efficient debut Off the Bench of 15 points on six of 10 shooting three of six from Beyond arc on eight dimes is the norm of what fans should be expecting out of CZ for the remainder of summer league and hopefully beyond that as well Koz pretty much has all the best qualities you’d find in your traditional point guard he’s under sized at 6’2 but compensates with his scrappiness on both ends of the floor he’s a dynamic ball handler with the IQ to facilitate for his teammates or expose opposing teams for the lapses on defense and overall he’s Uber efficient with everything he does although technically he’s coming to the league as a rookie having never played an NBA game he’s well beyond that title having spent so many years in college and overseas working on his craft he’s currently 26 years old and matter of fact it wouldn’t even be farfetched to say that KZ if given the opportunity could make for a bigger impact as the main roster backup point guard than Gabe Vincent did last season there’s a reason why fans are eager bundle gab Vincent’s contract as private trade package that ships him out and if that’s the case the front office might already have an in-house solution to fill in that slot over the next couple weeks don’t be surprised if Tommy Koz grows to be a Laker fan favorite with how fundamentally sound Scrappy and Uber efficient he is with the ball in his hands ler fans are no strangers to Summer League success stories panning out to be significant rotational pieces as part of the regular season and who’s to say that can’t happen to Tommy czz so let me know down in the comment section below going back to the question at the start of the video what are your initial thoughts on the debuts of rookies dton connect and bronny James as for the rest of the team’s performance which Lakers summer league player has surprised you the most so far but that’s it for the video take it easy guys turnover maybe a little over dribbling by Grimes great move great move and he gets the well in basketball you have to learn to play with others so true 10-point game here Orlando with a second chance opportunity here C for my man hey number 42 baby get play real football the South baby down there in Georgia my NE of the woods where I’m from they going to see some real football now we get you know our players get paid oh don’t start that’s why we have NFL players we get paid three-point attempt is no good but great tap by at the uhoh C bad play do they have a senior NBA that’s what I want to know so I can go out there and ailles the knee up like all old men do that’s a great idea no no it is listen you know how they have like Jordan has his Fantasy Camp yeah the NBA should do like a Senior League okay okay so you can have a I did say he went undrafted but he has played in games with Sacramento Houston and Memphis so he does have some NBA [Applause] experience there he is they missed him earlier Potter’s been working inside yeah but Potter got to be ready for the ball right there he’s been complaining to the referees about the physical play Hey match the physicality that’s my guy with the runner the term level up because that is it the attenion and the details the focus on not making the same M mistake twice you know understanding what our coverages are not losing not losing your man defensively offensively making that extra pass those little things that we continue to harpen but just understanding that it’s it’s what he’s providing is the selfless attitude the the giving attitude and again you’re doing something doing it for something bigger than you and and again he recognized that early because of what he’s just come from now coach I’m going to ask you this question I know you going to lie to me I’m going to ask you about your team this year you got chance you got some young talented big has the freedom to show their game but you also got to talk to them about son play within yourself love that good tip I’m temp to yell at him and say what do you laugh I’m curious too I really wanted to know to be per play your first season here in PESA last season you played for L Borg how has your transition been to the club how do you like it here so far yeah it’s been great here um the the staff is really helpful for us um the front office everyone everyone’s been really good making sure we’re we’re good on the court but also off the court so that’s been great for someone living in a foreign country um but then also yeah having those couple months in ludwigsburg helped me adjust even quicker I feel like so having those couple months in the league allowed me to get a a fast start on this year your absolutely favorite place here in fisha I know it’s a small town so maybe yeah there’s a there’s a really good Indian food place which is where we go for lunch all the time so I need to I need to check it out check out the Indian food check out a couple of the cafes get some cappuccinos thank you so much I will um anything you had to adapt to at first or anything you had problems with in the beginning uh in the country or in the basketball oh no here in feta in feta uh it wasn’t too bad it’s a small town but I came from a college that was in a small town as well so it really did feel like home and everyone in the community is really uh really nice and they reach out and they talk about the game so that’s always fun it’s it was the first time for me here being in the arena I know feta is known for a like strong fan base and for a great atmosphere here in the arena how have you experienced it yeah I mean I don’t know if you can get any better than this in Germany it’s obviously small but we like it that way it’s nice and tight it’s loud yeah you feel like the fans are right on top of you so there’s no bad seats in the House you

  1. Frankly, the idea of a 'senior NBA League' is an interesting idea. Just like the PGA Seniors Tour. The announcer might have just said a mouthful.
