Someone tell me this kind of trade doesn’t make perfect sense for a tank (you can play around with the picks)

Doubt the Pelicans would do that.

Also not sure why everyone wants to ship Poeltl out for late firsts and useless, washed vets

Why would the pelicans add 0 spacing with Zion

Kings are giving up 2 FRPs, 1 SRP, Harrison Barnes, and Huerter for Brandon Ingram? Ingram is at best worth 2 FRP at the moment, there is no market for him. There is no way this deal gets done.

Also, Poeltl is worth a FRP at best. To get a FRP AND Harrison Barnes is robbery.

Pelicans would do this for sure. Poeltl isn’t the best fit but there are no stretch 5s on the market… WCJ is probably the only one but he’s not clearly a starting caliber C. To also get a FRP out of Ingram when he has no market is a no brainer.

Anyway, Kings say no for sure.

  4. Or here’s an idea, they try to get better each year rather than developing a culture where losing is expected.

Not sure this makes sense for any team tbh. Yak is not untouchable, but he is important to this teams development and is fundamental to our defense

That’s not a bad trade at all. I’d prefer a more recent 1st though and I don’t know how I feel about having 2 Barnes’ on the same team. I’ve just kind of accepted though that any trade proposals will be met with hostility around here no matter what. Everyone acts like they have it all figured out. To me it’s worth exploring various trades that’s part of the enjoyment of the offseason

So you think Poertl is worth 3 1st rd picks? Get a grip dude. We would be lucky to get 1.
