Very rough time finishing. That L to R between the legs move doesnt get him anywhere and are wasted dribbles. Initial impression. That being said…he quick and fast.

Wasn’t impressed at any point in the pre-draft process and am still yet to be impressed.

He’s not going to be an effective NBA PG if he consistently turns down shots like he was doing. Especially with these absolute scrubs, he’s got to be more aggressive.

Seems like he started off a bit jumpy (see the travel in 2nd) but I liked the court vision, passing, and quickness a lot. There was a noticeable difference between when he finishes strong at the basket versus finishing weak; shooting was a mixed bag; couple nice looking shots, couple poor looking shots. All the haters in here whining should go back and watch Wemby’s first SL game, I’m sure they were chicken littles then too. Me, I’m excited to watch another piece of the Spurs’ future grow and develop into a great player.

I like what i saw. Accuracy will come with time, but i like how he plays near the rim.

Awesome! His handle looks superb. Hope he uses summer league to keep driving, working out what works for him when up against bigger bodies. Even where it doesn’t work – his intent here looks awesome, these games should help him heaps ahead of next season.

First game in months for him, but he got to the rim at will, dished out what should have been 8 assists, defended like hell, and showed true poise as a PnR lead handler. His handle was smooth and he moved like a baby Shae out there. Impressive
