  1. The more I look at it the more I think we should just let Santi have his last shot. But damn we need more rebounding.

Proud of Santi! This should give him confidence going forward. I believe playing his true NBA role this season with a healthy group, will only improve his individual performance and team performance of the grizzlies. If he’s gained 10 pounds of muscle as reported, that’s huge as well. So excited for this upcoming season!

Last year I was pumped on the stuff he did in Europe and santi has always shown flashes. I’ve been a big fan since day 1. Think he fills a role with starting center upside with his 3 point shot with his height. Lots of times it takes a year for a player to adjust after they become part of a winning team that coming in his rookie and sophomore slump year…. Then all the injuries this year. You can understand why he still has potential to be something more.

First year he played 32 games 11mins 4 points 2 rebounds. .7 assist. But we loved the flashes and saw a role as a bench player who could give us a different look with his spacing and height. Lots of haters still angry we “wasted the pick”.

Second year 77 games 22 mins. 9 points 5 reb assist. The bandwagon started. Haters and there were a lot in this sub turned after seeing what he could do.

3rd year the year they should start figuring it out but the injuries shifted what was expected of his in a crazy way. But also exposed a single thing he can easily work on this offseason. His strength it happens naturally with age but it seems like he is looking stronger this off-season he was a string bean this year. 61 games 26 mins 11 points 6 reb 2 assists. Yes more minutes not because of talent but more for injuries but upward trajectory all the less. Most teams would love to see it.

How do you pronounce tissot? I say “tiss-it” like I’m from Alabama and i know that’s not it. But it is kinda funny so I’m gonna keep doing it. Just curious what the real pronunciation is
