Buzelis Era BEGINS…Bulls Summer League Roster REVEALED…
the youth movement for the Chicago Bulls is about to kick off next week as the Chicago Bulls are set to take a team out uh to Las Vegas for the summer league we are going to be talking about the roster that was set for the summer league we’re also going to be talking about some of the things to watch for uh for our summer league team this is Rico greenhow and this is another episode of bulls digest before we go ahead and jump into it want to let you know that 77.4% of you guys that watch the video are not subscribed to the channel make sure you hit that subscribe button so you can stay up to date with the latest news and happenings around your Chicago Bulls and without further Ado guys let’s go ahead and jump into the topic of the day which is the NBA Summer League um mainly you look we got the rosters which are set um there are some players that absolutely we want to take a look at we have uh starting with Billy Donovan’s son he’s going to be coaching the summer league team Billy Donovan III um he’s also going to be coaching the Wendy City bulls and I think that this is a great time to see what type of system the Chicago Bulls might be implementing offensively okay because I can remember back when I think Draymond Green was playing there for Golden State and there was a lot of talk about him shooting three-pointers in the summer league and he didn’t shoot that well but it was just the fact that he was taking them um and it really what it showed uh moving forward is that’s what Golden State wanted to implement um moving forward in their season and you saw that that’s happened throughout their Championship run that you know not only has he been a defensive Terror but he’s also been able to knock down the three and that started with the summer league and developing that so that’s what you’re looking for when you go out to the summer league we want to see what type of system the Chicago Bulls might be wanting to implement especially since we just got Josh giddy I’m looking to see a much quicker pace I want to see if there’s any more movements off the ball now um now that essentially we’re probably more than likely not going to have demard de rozan there um and may not even have Zack LaVine so I think a lot of that stuff is going to be implemented here in the summer league so that’s number one number two it starts with some of the players that we want to see right so you know we want to see what is our 11th pick in the draft going to do uh Modis bazis okay and so there’s a lot of talk about him and can he play the four can he play the five uh can he is he more of a three I think that those are going to be answered a little bit more in the summer league because he’s going to have a lot of opportunities here there’s nobody in his way we get a chance to see uh just how good he is and and just to see you know a lot of this Swagger that I saw on tape from bazis I’m looking forward to seeing that up close and personal I want to see how he competes I want to see what happens uh if he misses a series of shots does he can still compete on the defensive end does he still uh become uh effective by going out getting rebounds and getting assists and things like that so I’m curious to see what his motor looking like and exactly what type of player and as far as the position and the fit he’s going to more than likely slide into for the Chicago Bulls next I’m looking forward to seeing Adama sonoko all right and you know I’ve raved about him I think that he is absolutely going to rack into the starting lineup at some point in time um I think that you know he’s going to get some significant backup uh Center and power forward minutes right now and I just feel like he has an excellent feel for the game he is a guy that does not shoot the ball uh from the mid-range or hit the three-pointer but he knows how to find spots score and really get rebounds which is what we want he is an absolute Terror on the boards and this is news not news but music I should say to the Chicago Bulls ears because this is what we want this is what we loved out of drum and we love somebody that’s going to go out there and get boards that’s exactly what we’re getting from sonoko so I’m looking to see what he has uh really developed over the summer moving into this second St on the summer league guys um and then another player that I’m looking forward to looking at is Julian Phillips I think that uh he finished the year um injured last year we haven’t heard a whole bunch of updates but the fact that he’s on the roster that’s a good sign don’t know how much he’s going to play but I think that um you know it’s a good sign that he’s there and I’m curious to see how much better his jumper gotten is he going to be a little bit more of a terror on the defensive end I think that that’s probably really going to be uh the main fit for him all right so uh moving forward guys and when we look at the roster there’s a couple other names besides these notables that I’ve dropped out here that I’m really curious to take a look at guys and so as we throw this up here the first name that I’m looking at is going to be Marcus damask I think that uh he’s an absolute uh steal I think as an undrafted player in my opinion I I think he reminds me a lot of a max stru type of player hopefully uh he doesn’t end up on another team like Max stru did because we did have him at some point but he’s 6525 competes very hard one of 10 players in NCA history to get a triple double what he lacks in athleticism he absolutely makes up in skills guys and I think that you’re going to be in for a treat watching him play because he’s very crafty he can finish oversiz he knows how to post up the basketball and he knows how to pass this thing too he’s a willing passer and he is a he has a very good handle as well so he has a terrific feel for the game and I think that at some point he could possibly be in the rotation I’m not saying he’s LaVine I’m not saying he’s demard de rosan but I think he’s uh or replacing them I should say but I think that you know he has a chance to get out there and and and contribute to our ball Club so that’s that’s number one so he’s the first guy that I’m looking to see next up is is DJ Stewart okay DJ Stewart is a guard that’s coming out of Duke uh played in the g-league last season and he has a terrific shot I looked at some of his Clips there were times where the ball just doesn’t even touch the the rim I mean just the net just jumps on his jumper I mean it’s it’s a nice jump shot and the one thing about him is that he’s 63 he’s a little undersized but he does remind you a little bit of Devin Carter that just got drafted by the Kings he’s kind of a combo guard that does it all I think that he has a chance to be a lot like maybe like a Derek white type of player uh again just a combo type of guard so I want to see what other assets does he bring to a team um other than this than just shooting the basketball next up guys another player that we are looking to take look at for for me is going to be uh Garson Brooks okay Garson Brooks you see him there out of Mississippi State went and looked at some of the things that he’s done played for the University of North Carolina he averaged a double double at one point in time he had 16 points a game and over 10 rebounds a game ended up transferring to Mississippi State took a a down dip with the the numbers there a little bit as far as scoring the basketball but he was still able to rebound the basketball looked at what he did in the g-league for the Westchester Knicks he was able to go out and average a double double with 13 points and a little over 11 rebounds of game and the one thing that I love about him is he’s 610 all right guys you guys know I’ve raved about centers I’ve been talking about khil where we didn’t go out and get a center I I think the the center the power forward that is a lot of opportunity to be had with the Chicago Bulls so if he plays particularly well uh I can absolutely see him hanging around our g-league team and possibly getting some minutes from the backup position and and who knows what’s going to go on with V at some point maybe he’s a starter I don’t know but I’m curious to see what he can do um anyway so at 610 I want to see you know can he be really effective out there next up guys another person that I’m looking to to check out here is going to be uh seam all right you see him out of North Carolina State guys and the one thing that I love about uh Brum in checking out his game is he does a little bit of everything last year I think he was an absolute Terror for the Pelicans and I think that when Julian Phillips is a finished product I think that that’s seum that’s exactly what he’s going to look like so pay close attention to him I think that that’s the path that Julian Phillips is headed for and that’s going to be a rangy uh Wing SLG guard that is in the passing Lanes knocking shots off the backboard which is what you can absolutely see cbram do last season in the summer league and you see a guy that can knock down the jumper get to the cup finish with contact so I am very excited to see this young man play and you know this is another area right for the Chicago Bulls where they need to address it and that is going to be the wing position so I definitely think that there is opportunity here uh for these players that I have mentioned guys and so you know that leads us to the last part of the video guys um you know based off those players is there anybody in particular that you’re looking to see I talked about bazis I talked about Julian Phillips um are you curious to see some of the mystery players that are going to be out there I think that’s one of the best things about the summer league when you go out there um and you get a chance to just see how good players really are you could see you know what their skill sets were like I can remember when Dylan Brooks was out there for Memphis right and he was competing for a spot at that time I remember seeing him out of Oregon Jordan Bell you know getting a chance to look at wiim bana and Brandon Miller play last season um you know looking at Ben Simmons when he played as a rookie so you know if youve if you get a chance uh I definitely think that fans should absolutely go out to the summer league I think this is a great chance to actually um you know you get a chance to sit where you would like to but you get a chance to see these players up close and personal and you get a chance to see uh you know what the scouts were talking about you get a chance to see you know what you know potentially they’re going to have to work on so I think it’s a terrific uh place to head out to if you’re an NBA fan but I’ve rambled on guys anyway we’re not talking about trades we’re talking about the summer leagues we’re talking about our youth movement and I’m happy that we are talking about basketball let me know what you guys are thinking in the comments and even though we are getting hyped for the summer league and not real games I’m saying go bulls and as usual I will see you guys on the next one peace peace peace

Why the hell would you want him playing the 4 or five he's not a big manure big men aren't even big men they undersized
Manure??! What
Does that mean?
Sanogo is terrible. This has to be sarcasm, either that or you’re related to the guy or something. Literally not one single contemporary basketball team wants a big who has zero shooting ability. Drummond is horrible & no one loved anything about him on the Bulls. There’s a reason he was fighting for a league-minimum contract. The very last thing that anyone wants to see is low-scoring, grind it out games with non-scorers. Defensive Rebounds are literally the very least important facet of basketball.
LoL ain't no way in Sanogo is a starter. He might eventually be a decent backup
Why you talking about guards, we have way too many already
Bulls def gonna win summer league my ninja and all these full time haters best stop drank that haterade my g!!!!!
Dumask is the better prospect than Sonogo. I bet he gets called up and maybe Dalen gets shipped. You say Max Struss I see Mark Price. Kid's gonna move up fast wherever he catches on.
I hope the change is getting rid of Donovan and the Gm
