[Bloghawk] It’s been 1,064 days since the Hawks have signed a free agent to something bigger than a minimum contract.
It has also been 1400ish days since we were the biggest spenders in free agency. 1,000ish days since we gave Capela a 2 year overpaid extension for no reason, and 700ish days since we gave Hunter a 4 year overpaid extension for no reason.
Counting is fun. How many more days do y’all think it’ll be until we can finally convince some one to trade for Capela/Deandre?

We also traded for Bey, started rightfully giving JJ starter PT, drafted Kobe, Gueye, AJ, and had two solid rotation centers locked up. Where exactly would you have spent when making these trades and picks?
People just blindly say shit — we made plenty of moves to try and bolster our rotation through trades and picks. You don’t have to play FA to build a team when you make massive moves and have star level guys that warrant PT and major money.
