I’ve been waiting for Jokubaitis to be announced for the Summer League. Gives me another reason to actually go see them.
SL gonna be lit
I really don’t get why some guys are so hesitant to make the jump. I feel like I’d be champing at the bit to get to the NBA as soon as possible. More money, more opportunity to make a name for yourself, and the chance to compete against the best players in the world.
he seems to have plateaued in his development there. he knows that if he waits until he’s tearing up the euros to try and make the jump, he might never try. everything lined up for him to play in SL, as there’s no commitment or decision that needs to be made prior to coming.
i just hope he gets the respect he deserves from the organization to be a featured player this year. he should start at the 2 because i don’t see kolek as anything but a pure pg, but they should be staggered so rokas is running the show for all non-kolek minutes. he looked GREAT in summer league with deuce and grimes in heavily restricted minutes.
Literally picking the worst time to “come over”. He’ll probably be moved to another team if he shows something.

Been long enough, just got to come over and commit if he desires to make it in the NBA. Who knows how the season shapes up. He could have got some burn last season with the injuries and bodies needed.

Knicks might have the best PG rotation in summer league, between Kolek and Rokas. Good for the other players, because guard play is typically atrocious in SL
That’s great. He’s been pretty impressive in international/spanish league. Love to see how he looks in summer league and pre season. Maybe we have something. Also is Jacob Toppin not playing SL? Have the complete rosters been announced?
