Victor Wembenyama is About to BREAK the NBA…

the NBA is not ready for year two Victor rinama this man is about to terrorize the league he no longer has Jeremy soan and Trey Jones as his point guards he got two upgrades in the off season and he has a breakout year incoming even though he already averaged 21 and 10 as a rookie this dude Victor reama is about to break the NBA he should be an MVP candidate in my opinion next season I expect him to go for like 28 13 and five blocks that would be a solid year for him next year in my opinion he should have been Defensive Player of the Year this year but he still put up 21.4 points per game almost 11 rebounds four assists and 3.6 blocks per game as a rookie I mean watch this play right here he is about to just bully the three-time MVP in a top 10 Center of all time in Nicole yic made him look stupid that was too easy for wimy right there 47% shooting from the field 33% from three um and he will only be 21 years old next year that is insanity now we have some new footage of him hooping with the French national team and he’s got some clamps between him and goar um turkey shot one for 25 at The Rim in their qualifying game or maybe this was just an exhibition either way the French front court is looking very very scary but watch wanyama right here on this PL I know it’s turkey so take it with a grain of salt but still his ability to get up hedge this screen and then just pick the point guard’s pocket and go the other way and then make a heck of a pass for an easy layup not much effort right there from Turkey but this dude Vic is insane an 8 foot wingspan that is just ridiculous he can just stick his hand up and take the ball give me those right there you’re not shooting over him good luck now he has been catching a lot of lobs from these French guards um and with Chris Paul he should probably catch about 10 lobs per game CP3 is going to make his life so easy um wimy right there with the dunk um here a little pick and roll for the lob up top on his head um again he no longer has Trey Jones and Jeremy Sohan as his point guard throwing him lobs even Nick Batum right here just throw it up he’ll go get it that’s a reverse dunk again I know he’s playing Turkey um guy should have just laid that one in but still nice lob right there that’s what Chris Paul’s going to look like next year just feeding this man lobs and it’s going to be Showtime on the other end um he should be absolutely Unstoppable especially once this three-point bag starts to kick in I mean just a little a little down screen then he’s going to pop I think he’ll be greater than probably 35% from three this year at least greater than 30 without a doubt I mean that straight on three right there looking really nice and it’s extremely difficult to contest now I’ll talk about the draft moves which we already talked about but they got their point guard of the future with Stefan castle some people are saying playing with the two I don’t see that they traded number eight and again people were kind of outraged about this in the last video but they get two future first round picks I know one’s a swap but if that’s a top five pick in the draft I’m counting that as a future first and you never know in the NBA like I said only half of the NBA well less than half now with the Rosen moving on has a player that has been on their team for seven years and the NBA changes so quickly in seven years it’s going to be a completely different landscape for Minnesota now Castle you see the measurables right there I think he’s a really really good future point guard I don’t see him as a two guard 11.1 points per game 4.7 rebounds 2.9 assists in 27 minutes and he was played out of position in college which is what led to some of his you know not being able to reach his full potential um he’s a natural passer as you can see here um he had to play out of position but he finds kingan right there he’s already been playing with a post so he knows how to make these post entry passes or a dominant post I should say that’s taller than everybody else clinging with the dunk there um Castle wanyama should be a staple in San Antonio for the next 5 10 years easily um nice little Outlet pass right there but the post entry passes is something that he’s good at now he’s a project shooter and that is one thing that is going to determine how good he can be at the end of the day only 27% from three on 2.2 attempts per game um but he was a 76% free throw shooter so that is very good very promising for the future um but the outlook for Castle is he has great potential he’s got great measurables um extremely athletic he’s going to be a long-term point of attack Defender for sure uh heading up this defense you got Castle you got Vel you got wimy that’s a nice three-headed monster but the point guard of the now is going to be Chris Paul and he is going to be setting this man whb Yama up with looks all day long another underrated part of this is yes he’s going to be able to Mentor Castle he’s going to be able to feed wimy but he’s also going to help Devon vasel out a lot as well uh Chris Paul averaged 9.2 points per game 6.8 assists and four rebounds last year in Golden State he still got it he still got some left in the tank and I think this connection is going to be something special next year I mean just look at what he did with DeAndre Aton and Clint capella got them both Big Time contracts imagine what he’s going to be able to do with Victor wanyama now cb3 shot at 44% from the field and 37% from three last year on 3.6 attempts and yes he is 39 years old but I still think he has plenty left in the tank I still think he can really help Victor and help Mentor this young Spurs team with that being said let’s take a break here make sure to the like button leave me a comment down below and hit that subscribe Button as you can see here a large majority of the people that watch these videos are not subscribed to the channel so if that is you go ahead and change that right now also we’re looking for about two to 300 likes on today’s video so if you could help us out with that hit that like button hit that subscribe button it all be greatly greatly appreciated now with that being said let’s go and continue on looking at the Spurs still have some money left in the tank now yes they just made a move for Harrison Barnes but I still think they can go out and get one of these unsigned shooting guards and Luke Gard or Gary Tren Jr for a minimum Luke Canard I think would fit in really really well with the Spurs team averaging 11 points 3.5 assist and shot 45% from three on six attempts last year and then Gary Tren Jr brings in that three and D2 guard that you know every NBA team would love to have he average 13.7 points 2.3 rebounds on 39% shooting from three on six attempts a game the rest of the roster looks like this I mean you got Chris Paul maybe they bring in Gary turn maybe they bring in Luke nard maybe they don’t bring in anybody but you have cb3 I think they needed two guard I don’t think Castle is fit to be the two um and then you got Vel Sohan wimy whoever else they decide to start and then Off the Bench you got Stefan Castle Trey Jones Malachi brandom who could be a good piece Um Zack Collins we’ll see maybe Spurs fans seem to want to move on from him and then you also have Kell Johnson then we’ll see about Harrison Barnes who we’ll talk about here in a second but they have an elite wing on the team that flies under the raadar in Devin vasel a guy that can knock down the three ball a guy that can really defend a guy that can drive he can really do a little bit of everything and between castle vasel and wimy over the next 3 to five years they should have an elite defensive Trio Vel averaged 19.5 points per game 4.1 rebounds 3.8 assists and 1.1 Steals and should be a very viable second option alongs side of Victor rinama as the Spurs team continues to grow and develop together only shot 37% from three this past year on 6.6 attempts so maybe that’s something you question a bit but 47% from the field and he’s 24 years old so he still growing growing still developing he will be 24 this season needs to get that three-point percentage up but still I mean those are stats from a 23-year-old very very good numbers now the new addition that they just added via the Demar de Rosen trade Harrison Barnes a wing a veteran Wing that can shoot he provides a good veteran presence I love this move for the Spurs I love their entire offseason bringing in a couple veterans that know what it takes to win maybe Chris Paul you know hasn’t won on the highest stage yet Harrison Barnes has 12 points per game three boards 1.2 assist 29 minutes per game for Barnes last year and he shot 39% from three on five attempts so maybe this is a move you know they’re trying to bring in to win maybe you play Vel to two now and you have Barnes at the three I don’t know what they decide to do um y’all let me know your thoughts down in the comment section below though with that being said that’s going to be it for today’s video thank you so much for watching make sure toit the like button and leave me a comment down below if you did enjoy at any point we’re trying to hit like I said 200 likes on today’s video if we could do that it’d be greatly appreciated and with all that being said thank you This video looks at the San Antonio Spurs and how Victor Wembenyama is about to have an elite year and be an MVP caliber season with Greg Popovich and their new point guard Chris Paul

  1. his blocks per game might go down, last season he lead the league in blocks because players don't know how good he is at defending, now that they learned they might not even try to shoot around Wemby lol

  2. I don't understand why everybody's saying that this dude Castle is the point guard of the future. There's a draft every year right So who knows there might be a better point guard next year. I think they should just focus on one year at a time.

  3. 1. Vassel played the SG/2 spot most of last year 2. It's Sochan that is better defensively to be the 3-headed monster with Castle & Wemby 3. I like the hope for Wemby's stats to go up like that but not realistic imo. 28pts probs too high, no way is he getting 5 blocks. 2nd year more people will be aware of his presence and ability and I think his blocks will go down but defensively will be even better

  4. CP3 and Harrison Barnes. Two veterans with substantial playoff experience.

Both have been part of winning teams in the past and knows what it takes. The leadership and knowledge will be immense for the Spurs. I now actually have them being a low-seed playoff team.

  5. Terrible start to the video, had to stop watching when you said Tre Jones wasn’t his point guard anymore

As a Spurs fans, watching these unoriginal start-up NBA channels use Wemby for clickbait is getting tiring

  6. Nice analysis! Liked. Btw what do you think they’re going to try to do this year? Make play in or do what they did last year and Ingeniously tank as Tim Bontemps put it recently for another top 5 pick?
