🚨Warriors Rumors: Could Steph Curry DEMAND A TRADE? LATEST Lauri Markkanen Trade UPDATE

[Music] welcome into the show let’s do this thing you’re watching Golden State Warriors today by chat sports I’m Chase senior hope all of dub Nation had a great weekend and your weeks are off to a fantastic start coming up on the docket for the show will Steph Curry demand to trade a lot of thoughts there especially considering what Steph Curry said about his future with the Warriors we also have a new Lui Markin and update if you’ve been enjoying our content really appreciate all of your support and make sure you subscribe for daily Warriors videos right here on Golden State Warriors today let’s talk Steph Curry’s future here what does the future hold for The Greatest Warrior of all time four-time NBA champion two time regular season MVP and onetime NBA Finals MVP I thought what Steph Curry had to say about his future with golden state was very very interesting here’s the direct quote and then will react to it I have a lot of thoughts I mean I can clearly say I want to be a warrior for life it’s always been my goal and I’m saying that sitting in this chair right now but like you said life and especially life in the NBA it is a wild environment and things change quickly now that is a very interesting quote from Steph Curry given his history with golden state drafting him out of Davidson after he became a legend in the NCAA tournament the player that has become maybe the most impactful superstar in the history of basketball because he’s literally changed the way that the game is played he wants to stay with the Warriors he wants to retire a warrior he wants to see that number 30 go up in the rafters but what did Steph Curry do with that quote he’s a very smart man he’s very well spoken he’s busy this summer he’s seeing all the action an NBA free agency as he’s set to compete in the Olympics he left the door open he did not deny that he could play elsewhere at some point imagine a friend or family member asked you do you want to marry him or her depending on your dating circumstances and this is what you said wouldn’t be an ideal answer right I mean I can clearly say I want to be with him or her for life it’s always been my goal and I’m saying that sitting in this chair right now but like you said life and relationships are a wild environment and things change quickly that wouldn’t really be a vote of confidence for your significant other which brings me to this point could Steph Curry ask out could he demand a trade at some point from the Golden State Warriors could he end his career elsewhere he turns 37 years old in March he’s still playing at a really Elite level and he wants to maximize his prime years he has four rings right now if he wins five NBA champions ships as the number one on those title teams he enters Elite company and in this generation of NBA basketball who are the two great players that you really think about as the two greats of this era and really over the last 10 to 15 years Steph Curry LeBron James Steph Curry has four titles LeBron James has four titles Steph Curry gets that fifth ring and do people consider this era Steph’s era and him to be the best player of this LeBron Steph Curry tenure it’s very interesting and you think about where this Warriors organization is situated right now they are not close Western Conference ladies and gentlemen is stacked and a lot of teams this off season have improved you have young emerging teams in Superstars you have some of the OG teams in the West you have some teams who are really trying to improve you have the Dallas Mavericks who just made it to the NBA finals and I think coming off that finals lost to Boston they’ve gotten better what’s happened with the Warriors this off season they might be worse now than when they ended the season and I don’t think they’re close to being a top six team in the Western Conference and in the future it looks a little bit Bleak so Steph Curry still Elite right now now needs a lot of help if he’s trying to really lock down his legacy and truly compete for another NBA Championship in his prime or toward the tail end of his prime does he want to do that elsewhere this offseason for the dubs has not been ideal lost five-time Allstar and four-time NBA champion Steph Curry’s cohort inlay Thompson really got nothing back release Chris Paul really got nothing thing back Golden State struck out on Paul George and Paul George admitted on his podcast he wanted to go there but the deal never got done between Golden State and the Clippers and this Lori Markin in trade which would make the Warriors an improved basketball unit might be dead so my honest question too is where the Warriors rank in the Western Conference Dallas Mavericks Denver Nuggets Minnesota Timberwolves Los Angeles Clippers Los Angeles Lakers Phoenix Suns Sacramento Kings Oklahoma City Thunder the best team in the west probably going into next year all those teams better than Golden State the Steph Curry want to just be floating in mediocrity for the remainder of his career and if Golden State were to trade Steph Curry or if he were to demand a trade imagine the value that the Warriors could get back for him not only is he the most influential superstar in my opinion that the game of basketball has ever seen because worldwide he’s literally changed the way the game is played he’s the most selfless superstar in the history of basketball in my opinion a lot of superstars have an ego a lot of superstars rub their teammates the wrong way Steph Curry is widly considered to be a great dude great teammate and a team that is desperate to win a Championship might overpay for Steph Curry his value right now of how he’s playing 40 plus% from three he could still pop off for 253 points per night ankle issues a little bit of an issue but still balling might never be higher so would I do it would I trade Steph Curry if I’m Mike dun leevy Jr no way Steph has been the most impactful star of this generation and in the history of the Warriors organization he should never ever forever wear another Jersey but also as part of this what if Steph were to ask out what if he were to go to Mike dun leevy Jr Steve CER Joe lob if it got ugly going into the All-Star break next year around the NBA trade deadline and he were to ask out and say look I’ve given you everything I could have given you but the direction of this organization is murky I’m still hooping I want to go elsewhere and they teams who are offering big packages for me take that package let me Chase the title somewhere else I want to get that Larry O number five do you have to honor that you might have to honor your franchise great Michael Jordan played for the Wizards different circumstances but still that’s a legend wearing another Jersey so if the warriors were to decide to rebuild does Steph Curry want to be a part of that because right now they’re in this middle territory next year for Golden State and the future is all dependent on some many unknowns can Jonathan kaminga be that co-star can Brandon psky and Trace Jackson Davis take huge leaps can you continue to get really good play out of Draymond Green can we land a lari Markin in or a co-star if not now going into the NBA trade deadline it’s a little bit iffy as far as the future for Golden State if the dubs want to rebuild Golden State could kickart that with the curry trade you’re talking about getting some young dogs back a lot of draft capital and it gets that rebuild in motion I don’t think it happens now if I were to guess I don’t think it happens in the future but it’s always important in business and in sports to have foresight and to think about these things and talk them through because what if the Warriors have to be talking about that and posing that question what if because if it getss ugly and Steph Curry does one out you have to have a plan of action and you have to be prepared for that will Steph Curry finish his career with the Golden State Warriors I’m not talking about going to a different team retiring as a Warrior start to finish with the dubs why for yes and for no let me know down in the comments section right now coming up next toer on the show we have a new luri marinin trade update is a trade dead we’ll explore that coming up here in just a second but the Olympics about to get underway in France Steph Curry playing for the Men’s National Team and you can get your Steph Curry USA sherys right now available at chatsports.com Curry USA if you use that link you can also get some jerseys they are very pricey but I’m not going to lie Curry and the number four the USA the colors America America F yeah very fresh the real ones now as for the latest on Lori marinan growing skepticism the two words that we want to pass along here on today’s Warriors today because the lari Markin in trade might not happened after all Anthony Slater of the athletic with this reporting over the weekend that the Sacramento Kings went hard after the Utah Jazz forward Lori marinan earlier in the week protecting Keegan Murray in discussions but putting on the table what they believe was a substantial enough picks based offer teams horses said but they put a deadline to their side of the deal needing an answer quickly considering the urgency of the dissolving Market Utah didn’t meet it and there’s growing skepticism League wide that jazz executive Danny a will actually move on any Markin and deal so the Kings pivoted quickly to Demar D rozan getting wind he’d actually have interest and then as We Know the Kings able to bring in deard De rozan on that sign in trade and I do think that makes Sacramento better another theme Sacramento other teams in the west getting better Warriors flatlining maybe getting worse on the plus side at least the Kings did not land L marinan that would make that team a lot better him and damont sabonis in that front court with the guard play Wing play that they have sheesh that has the potential to do damage in the Western Conference on the downside what is this version of the Golden State Warriors what is this team going to look like this year bring in buddy heeld Kyle Anderson De Anthony Melton woohoo is that going to move the needle all that much I don’t think so as for Markin and perton Jones of the athletic this is Anthony Slater’s uh colleague the Warriors extended a substantial offer to the Utah Jazz for L marinan the holdup though the Warriors only have two unprotected first round picks and a protected first round pick and they do not want to include Jonathan kaminga in a deal which is probably the player that the Utah Jazz want back in return in addition to a whole lot more if you’re Danny a in the Jazz so let’s round out the show with this fill in the blank for me the Warriors are the blank best team in the west they’re low on the totem pole I’m not going to lie let’s hear from dub Nation I’m not trying to be negative I’m just being realistic don’t forget to subscribe really appreciate all of your support of the show we’ll catch you tomorrow here on Warriors today [Music]

  1. Top 6 for sure. 5th in West is very attainable. 4 doable. What team has it better than, Steph, Wig's, Kuminga, Dray and TJD as a starting line up? (Denver, Minesotta, OKC, maybe Dallas). Bench: G B Pod-GPII. SG Melton-Heild. Wing Moody-Waters. F KA. C Looney. We won our last tittle with out a center like TJD. I see a top 4-5-6 team in the West.

  2. Unsubscribed once when Allie left; now you’re forcing me to do it again with the clickbait title. Just put out good content ffs, enough with the gimmicks.

  3. The Warriors have been trying to accommodate Curry but it hasn't worked. People say it's about winning but they really want all the money… Higher payroll than anyone and didn't make the playoffs? They are better now on paper than last year … Teams want everyone they have in trades for players that haven't done crap. The Suns are a great example… Old, top heavy, DONE..
    Is that what we want?

  4. The Warriors have mismanaged Steph Curry’s career hard. If I were him, I would definitely request a trade! I would probably join LeBron down in Los Angeles. Look what Steph has around him. This is pathetic. This is a top 10 player of all time. He should be surrounded by talent. What is this?

  5. Of course like some of you, I also like Steph to stay in Golden State, we already lost Klay and seeing Klay on a different jersey doesn't feel right in my opinion. So if Golden State's team would improve, this upcoming NBA season and somehow makes it to the play-offs this year, I think Steph might not leave Golden State however, if nothing improves which is too early to claim at this stage, I believe Steph will leave Golden State and end his career on another team.
