I love that JT seems to be a low-maintenance superstar.

He doesn’t need glitz and glamor and isn’t attracted to sexier cities like LA or Miami.

He doesn’t need scoring titles or to be recognized league-wide as an MVP.

He seemed genuinely happy for JB when he won ECF & Finals MVP and never pouted about it or let it diminish the team win.

I need that man to be a Celtic for life.

I’ll take “Things You Say After Just Winning A Championship And Signing The Biggest Contract In NBA History” for $1000, Alex.

At least until his contract runs out or the new ownership trades him, he will be very happy to stay in Boston.

That 36 year old Tatum for 4 firsts and 2 swaps trade in 2034 will hit me like a truck

  5. I think most players in most sports and teams want to stay with the same organization. Not always possible though. Probably will be with Tatum unless everything completely falls apart, but with the new CBA, they really made it impossible to keep all of the second tier stars and elite role players we are collecting. There’s almost definitely gonna be some sad goodbyes to unexpected names in about 12 months.

Hell yeah, Duece is gonna go to all the fancy private schools around Boston

It’s also definitely about the money lol. But he deserves it and I’m happy he’s making it here.

Thats we in pdx thought Lillard would be. All his talk, than one morning he said trade me.

  9. Not many current legends stay with one team their whole career. Steph probably will. We’ll see about guys like Jokic and giannis. It would be so sick to have Tatum and brown their whole careers

Well, this says a LOT. Celts in the 80s were great for a LOT of reasons, but having Larry Legend was the anchor point for all of that greatness. Sounds like JT is that guy, now.

I wonder if Boston area schools factor into his decision making at all.

  12. At that price point, I wouldnt mind feeling hated either

Be prepared for JT to retire before anyone’s expectations.
