cleared the play so you know I’ve been on the court and you know shout out to the to to to the guys and you know Miami he getting me right and you know been lifting and doing everything else that I need to do so you know I feel great how frustrating was it to get to that big game against Indiana and not feel yourself and then watch the team in two playin games and five playoff games knowing if you were out there the outcomes might have been different uh I you know obviously we all know why you know I came here to be a big help for the playoffs and you know just to try to get his team some life and it just suck that I I couldn’t play in a the the most important part of the season and you know I had to watch the guys that you know I go to war with so it was tough it was tough um you know just from that Indiana game on to now just you know it’s just nonstop thinking about me just wishing I was out there with my guys but uh you know that’s why I’m glad that I’m I can play now I’m cleared and everything goes to take care of itself when the time com p said this season final press conference that he ran into you with in a neck brace which surprised some of us cuz we don’t get to see you privately how serious was it would like were you scared was it a surgical option or sort of what did they tell you what’s it like wearing a neck brace in a basketball facility it was it it was tough it was tough uh you know just to look at myself with in neck brace and I would have never thought that you know my years of playing me living actually but um it was just a mutual agreement with you know me and the heat that I wasn’t feeling the best wasn’t super comfortable so uh you know we just definitely sat it out and you know waited out you know I Poss I I think that I would have played second round if if we would have made it but you know obviously that didn’t happen but um like I said most important thing I’m feeling better now um and I’m in a facility every day you know just getting better and you know I’ll be ready when when the next season I’m ready training camp start when when did you get the final clearance that you able to I’ve been clear for I’m clear for for about a couple weeks now couple weeks yeah was there any ever ever any fear of maybe this could linger or did they kind of tell you from the start like you you’ll get better no yeah it wasn’t no fear of that it wasn’t no fear of that it was just the most difficult thing was me not playing with the guys but obviously you just you want to listen to your body and uh if if it’s not right you you got to get right first but it was never a time where we was worried about me you know not playing basketball game or nothing like that no and then I think you with Jimmy bam and Tyler played 10 games together before there were injuries and stuff for all involved what do you think about kind of like you never got to see really what it could be with you guys playing together oh for sure for sure you know uh I think the fans is bored right now they want to put as much scenarios as they can together for us but uh at the end of the day we we we want to we want to run it back with our same team obviously it’s what it looking like and we want to show the fans you know what we can bring you know to to Miami and you know we obviously last year was was tough on us all of as a whole but we looking to get out there and you know and impact and make an impact all together you know and I only play with them guys probably 10 games I only been on the heat probably like 30 20 games so you know just putting it all together started training camp all of us playing together and and all of us figuring it out together I think we’ll be fine with the with the great mind of SPO and we’ll be good what do you think of the remix you lose a guy like Caleb a a glue guy you get some interesting young guys in the draft kle we arson um Hayward comes back in free agency K LOVE comes back in free agency Jay Rich returns it’s a little do you see it as a different mix or it’s picking up where you left off uh I think it’s picking up where we left off but I think everybody got you know kind of sour taste I think everybody uh you know wants to prove people wrong I think everybody is is is is ruling us out doubting us which is fine but uh I think that we all coming back with a training camp I think we all starting now but I think we all have the right mindset that we want to prove people wrong so whatever we decide to do uh as an organization I know uh me and them guys that’s going to put on the Heat jersey will be ready just from the the time you did get to be on the court for the heat what have you kind of seen from what how they use you that maybe you’re working on or focusing on this summer your workouts uh definitely you know just keep bu building that relationship with bam keep building that relationship with Tyler keep building that relationship with Jimmy everything else to take care of itself um you know spending time with each other together and I’m not talking so much off the court but like you know when we get back on the court together training camp and stuff like that I think when things will start clicking we learning one another like I said we didn’t we didn’t get any time with each other last year and uh I make no excuses at all but I think we we we are is it’s excited
